El Jannah Granville

Not gonna lie, El Jannah is the OG of charcoal chicken for a reason. Consistently good quality and great tasting food. Chicken texture was great and chips were nicely seasoned and crunchy. Bread was also nice and soft which made everything go down well especially with the tabouli and garlic sauce. Located right across from Granville station. Decent value for money.

Ordered the whole charcoal grilled chicken. Extremely filling. It comes with fries, wrap, side, and 2 drinks. Charcoal chicken was extremely flavourful and juicy. Definitely worth visiting!

Saw the review by YouTuber Mark Wiens - he went to this particular outlet, so we drove down and gave it a try. We definitely had a really satisfying dinner. Order the 1 whole chicken meal which was shared with 4 adults. Nice and flavourful chicken, the garlic sauce goes really well with the chicken. We added the spicy sauce and gravy which was also very good. There was a long queue when we arrived but the food was served relatively fast and we didn't have to wait long.

I get the hype.
Juicy charcoal chicken accompanied by garlic sauce - it's straightforward and tasty. Wrapped in soft bread, each bite is heaven.
Consider getting some of their sides as well, they're sizable for the price.

We were inspired after watching Mark Wiens latest Australian Food Tour on YouTube which featured El Jannah as one of the restaurants he visited in Sydney. We also went to El Jannah’s original location at Granville.

Ordered a whole chicken plate to go! The charcoal chicken was extremely nice, very flavorful and moist. Love it. The condiment that came with the plate, including the pickles, garlic sauce and Lebanese bread complement the chicken really well. We enjoyed the meal a lot and will be back for more!

This has to be one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The place was pumping and for good reason. Serving sizes are very large and priced very reasonably. The charcoal chicken is great flavour and very tender. Garlic sauce is a must 🤌🏼 Staff were very efficient and we didn’t have to wait long. Would recommend if you are after a soulful meal 🍽

El Jannah always makes amazing food. Their grilled chicken is super tasty, with crispy skin and juicy meat. The garlic sauce and soft Lebanese bread on the side make it even better. The place is friendly, and the service is good, making it my favourite spot to eat where every visit is a yummy experience.

As a local, this store has always been my go-to for Charcoal chicken. Over the years, they have consistently delivered great value for money and delicious food - Every interstate or overseas friend visiting Sydney has shares the same opinion and have yearned to have one in their home town. This place is an institution. Home of the world famous garlic sauce - the gift that keeps on giving after you eat it if you know what I mean. It goes so well with chips and it’s the perfect partner to the chicken. I love how you can specify if you want the leg or breast and it’s no extra charge. Ordering is easy and can be done online. The chips with the chicken salt is awesome and the portions are fair. Prices are really affordable

Still the GOAT in terms of quality and locations. Always happy to have a meal here. Did not rate the fried chicken though. Stick with the classic chicken, chips and garlic sauce.

The charcoal cooked chicken is delicious and juicy. They definitely know how to cook chicken well - seasoned and marinated on point. It is very flavourful even on its own. If you like garlic, you can spread the garlic sauce on bread, add some chicken, and roll it. Will definitely come back for more.

Possibly the BEST charcoal chicken around. The herbs and spices on the skin were flavorful but not over powering and the garlic sauce, my WORD! do yourself a favour and get here! Quarter chicken meal under 12 bucks! Great value. Great food and friendly service!

This place "always hits the spot". The best chicken round. They're very consistent with flavour and the quality of food. It always tastes as good as it did today.

The price is perfectly adequate. We paid about $52 for a family meal with drinks etc. The staff are friendly. Every time I brought anyone here I haven't been let down.
The sauce is to die for. Expect to smell like garlic.

The best charcoal grilled chicken. And their garlic sauce is just out of this world. Jannah means Paradise. And that's where you will be after eating the food!

Great chicken, service is prompt. Ambience can be better, but it is very close to an intersection, so it a bit difficult there. But if you are looking for great chicken and great food in general, then this is the place to be
