Ballarat Information Centre

Definitely put this on your list if you are travelling and sight seeing in and around Ballarat.
We received so many brochures and maps with a huge list of things to do and see.
Such a beautiful old building, inside and out.

Went to visit on a Wednesday afternoon.
The weather was not the best, but the locals were friendly and welcoming.

Everyone was enjoying a nice walk, coffee and taking photos.

Very relaxing place to visit.

Tips for parking, drive to the nearest station, all day free parking there. 10 minutes walk to town, which is not bad at all!!!

The staffs are very friendly.
We stopped here first while visiting Ballarat and also on another time while driving to Adelaide from Melbourne. The first time we were there for general infos about Ballarat and around, and the staffs were just awesome. The next time, it was more of a rest stop for us, and the staffs provided my kids with coloring papers so thay were engaged, while we were stretching our legs.

A wonderful building and the staff is amazing!

Lovely staff. Place was open on public holiday which is great and convenient. The staff was friendly and greeted us with info around town. They also gave out info sheets about eateries, restaurants etc. that would be open in town on Good Friday, which was so helpful navigating for dinner plans.

A wonderful city with some great buildings, points of interest and restaurants/breweries!

There's some interesting artwork scattered around and generally plenty of parking (at least when we visited). There's a few monuments / status, and the information centre (although closed at the time of visiting) had some useful information in the window.

Amazing staff… such as myself but other then that if you need information this is the place to go!

I have recently move to Ballarat, I visited the information centre at Town Hall.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing service and information I received.
Jacinta was was busy looking after a few groups before she approached me.

Thank you for the assistance I was given and would recommend to all new residents to do the same.
I was impressed with the New Residents Welcome Booklet available at the Council Office.

The staff member was very helpful. Recommended some nice and interesting places to visit and accommodation.

Very informative staff who were friendly and courteous. They offer non bias advice of the area. They have many pamphlets and magazines of the local and surrounding areas as well as information on the whole of Victoria. Make sure you stop here. The building itself is also very beautiful
