Jen Hawley is a wonderful guitar teacher and coach!
She is so supportive and encouraging, which helps a student to transcend the scary or difficult parts of the learning journey that for some of us, can keep us from persevering and pushing through. Jen is the only teacher in my years of trying to learn how to play the guitar, who has been able to keep me on track. She meets you where you are and listens to what you need, in order to stay on course and not give up. Thank you, Jen...you are a blessing to all of us aspiring guitar students!

Jen’s lessons are inspirational! She’s patient, encouraging and has a genuine interest in my continual progress. With no music background, under Jen’s guidance, I picked up the ukulele at 60 a few years ago, and now play in bands at musical events, do open mics and generally have a lot of fun. I have been playing for years but was feeling uninspired and like I was just playing the same music all the time. After hearing what a proficient and dynamic guitarist Jen was in her band The Royal High Jinx I decided to take the plunge and have some lessons. I have been thoroughly impressed with her as a teacher; patient, non-judgmental and fun; her deep understanding of musical styles and theory compliments the engaging lesson material I have received. She is extremely supportive of me in my musical journey and I feel more confident and excited to play every day!

I've been learning guitar from Jen for several years now and am a very happy student. She's flexible and accommodating with the pace that I'm learning and we work together to find repertoire that is challenging and enjoyable. I'm a classroom music teacher and when parents ask for a recommendation for an instrumental teacher I always send them to Jen. She's great with both adult students and children.

Jen is a great teacher and in the past five years I've learnt ukulele, guitar and a dash of singing and every lesson I come away with new skills and a renewed passion for practicing and performing.

My girls were getting singing lessons and one was having a bad day so now she refused to teach them witch I find pathetic . I feel that she's doesn't now how to interact with children and should stick to teaching adults.didn't even teach them the last lesson but still felt free to take the money.my advise would be don't take your child there as she has no idea how to deal with them very strange person and unreliable on top of it thanks for wasting my time and money
