Loot Cottage Garden Cafe

I really liked the simplistic, decorative charm of this cafe. Both inside and out. It's calm, spacious, cool and airy. Generous well priced menu, fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Parking a bit tricky on Main st but plenty nearby on Graham st.

Loot Cottage is a laid back place to have a peaceful breakfast or brunch and as they write on the bottom of their menu, 'This is not a fast food cafe'. The owners are very friendly and very "it'll be ready when it's ready", so stop rushing through your life, just sit down and take your time and enjoy the friendly, slower pace. The food is delicious and the prices are not expensive. Oh, and the thickshakes are yummy, too.

Friendly cafe with great food. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The scone and jam and cream combination was a real delight. We loved the jam and enquired on where we could buy it , amazingly it's made at the cafe 😀

Friendly Cafe with good well priced food. Daughter loves to come and sit out the back in the garden. Scones are a must.

Very friendly staff, great service and family friendly. Even have an area for the dogs.

Personally, this is my favourite cafe in town and it is the best value.

Loot isn't the most trendy place, it doesn't have a big kitchen. What it has is a cosy place to have a feed and catch up with your friends or family and the owners seem value every client. Even when you haven't been in for a while.

People should get in and enjoy what Loot has to offer.

Unassuming and unpretentious, Loot Cottage Garden is well worth a visit. Friendly service and very affordable home cooked food have brought us back several times. 😎
