RACV Hobart Hotel

Excellent location for a long weekend in Hobart. Easy walking (within 10min) to all the key locations.
Cascade on Collins bar is a great stop for drinks, casual and relaxed.

Location is perfect, customer service is great and the food is fabulous. Upon check in I received a complimentary bottle of wine and complimentary spending on food and drinks. Tick tick tick! My room was also welcoming and spotless. Big thank you to Gloria on check-in who was lovely to deal with and Stacey at Charcoal who was a brilliant host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Really nice hotel. It is within walking distance of all the things to do in hobart. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The gym is always quiet but great. Would 100% come again.

We often stay with the RACV for our Hobart stays as it's location is often brilliant for all of our needs. Our most recent trip was to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Our room was absolutely fabulous with a deck that overlooked the water. We were given champagne to help celebrate with compliments from the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic and consistent every time we stay here and the rooms are always clean.

We had a wonderful stay at the RACV hotel in Hobart for our 26th anniversary. It's a very clean and nice hotel, perfect location with spacious rooms and a really nice bar area. They also really looked after us for our anniversary. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again if we go to Hobart

Had a great time at RACV. Room is clean and bed is comfortable, breakfast is fresh with a nice variety. Did ran out of parking spot every now and then, also do not have microwave for public use.

Terrific location. Rooms a bit tired and house keeping lacking. Great food. Great breakfast. Would return!

Clean and professional service perfect location right in the city easy access to restaurants and conveniences. Two nights was too short will have to stay a bit longer next time.

Great hotel in fantastic location. Stayed here for a night as a stop over in July, excellent service, room was rather plain, no-fuss but well maintained, clean and very comfortable.

On-site parking available at a cost and most of all- a great price offering including breakfast. Food offerings at breakfast wasn’t a huge range but fairly standard for a 4 star hotel. The only (minor) negative is that the lifts to the rooms are from a separate lift one flight from the lobby. It’s really just a very minor inconvenience. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful Hotel in the heart of the city.Big sized rooms,tastefully decorated. The view from the big bay windows in the room were beautiful. Conveniently located,so we walked everywhere.Will definitely stay here next time in Hobart

Exceptional service, friendly and generous! Everything went smoothly and even when there was any slight hitch, the staff made us feel like they were on top of things. We could truly relax being on holiday. It is rare to find a culture and attitude like theirs these days! Continue to carry the standard for others to follow !

Quick staycation with my GF and no kids! We upgraded to a premium room as a rare treat. Hard to fault the room. Not a lot of interaction with staff but it was all positive.

Very good hotel. Only 2 things need improvement. Parking is always packed. Coffee is weak to my taste, but for Americans, it should be good.

We stayed here for a couple of nights for the second time (as we were equally impressed the first time). The location and facilities are second to none. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The towels are thick and soft and the mattresses are superb. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel in general can not be faulted and parking is guaranteed (unlike some other hotels in the area). There's also a bar downstairs which serves delicious snacks while you take in a pleasant drink. All in all, the value for money and top class facilities make this hotel a winner.

Great location on Collins Street means you’re close to shopping (Cat & Fiddle Arcade) and food options (Pot Sticker Dumplings, Little India, Cafes) and easy walk around the city centre. 5 min downhill walk to the hospital (if that’s why you’re in Hobart….)
Lovely and professional staff swapped our room for one with a bath and balcony and reconfigured the beds from king to 2 singles no fuss. Brought us room service water after the kitchen had closed, beautiful people.
Bonus – if you stay on a Monday night the Hobart Bellringers practice at St Davids Cathedral in Macquarie Street (one street over) so that was amazing to hear.
Highly recommend.

Such great place to stay, staff and rooms have been awesome. Fyi if you need to charge your ev, it byo type 2 to type 1 cable. They have type 2 and Tesla

Brilliant hotel. You can walk everywhere from here, & the sky bus has its stop right outside which is very handy. Great bar too. Showers were bliss and bedding was luxurious. I highly recommend.

Great location, lovely spacious rooms which included (at least in mine and my sister's) an amazing bath tub perfect for a bubble bath before going downstairs for food and cocktails at Cascade bar on Collins which has internal access through the lounge.

Had dinner twice at Charcoal, loved the atmosphere, look of Restaurant food and service.
