Amazing accommodation that is spacious, comfortable and homey. It has a common living area with free access to a range of beverages - tea , coffee, hot chocolate, fresh orange juice etc. We truly appreciated the attentive and friendly hospitality that Fab extended to us. The breakfast she prepared for all guests every morning was the icing on the cake! Highly recommend to everyone who is visiting Thredbo.

My husband and I had such a pleasant stay here in September. Julie and Grant made us feel instantly at home, recommending ski runs, bush walks, and even providing a glass of port wine by the fire in the evening. Our room was very cozy and just the right size for two, and the homemade breakfast was delicious and the perfect fuel for a day on the mountain. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a 5 night stay at pure chalet and we had a fantastic time! Our room was beautiful, cosy and had the best view of the snowy mountains and the gorgeous sun in the afternoons. Julie and Grant, our hosts were just the best! Warm, friendly and they went above and beyond our expectations! Making our visit that little bit more special as we were on our Honeymoon. The breakfasts every morning were beautiful, filling and cooked from scratch by our hosts. Will definitely be back again. Thankyou Grant n Julie for your hospitality.

Conveniently located near the road although the steps going down are steep they made it completely safe for Senior citizens to traverse. The property was quaint and serene. It is far from the center of town and is an escape from the hordes of people visiting Thredbo. It is located at a prominent elevation comfortably adjacent to the mountain where you can sip you morning coffee while staring blankly at nothing but nature!

Beautiful property, immaculately presented and very easy to find. Julie and Grant were professional, helpful, friendly and always happy for a info and a chat. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks for a wonderful stay (the view from room 4 is amazing!) 😁

We stayed at Pure Chalet back in May and had a wonderful experience. From booking over the phone to changing our arrival time and the amazing room and wonderful service. The chalet is a short walk to everything with easy parking. The rooms are cute, clean and stylish with views to die for. Breakfast was beautiful with homemade breads and juice. Honestly, it was the perfect place to stay and we will certainly be stay here again. We still talk about how wonderful if was and would recommend staying here to anyone. Thank you for a great holiday!!

Wonderful stay here in early March. Really well looked after by Fab, who was always happy to give helpful tips during our stay. Loved the breakfasts and communal living space. Very clean, and bathroom was spacious and luxurious.

Spent the night with my partner.
Room was clean, well made. Great condition.
Bathroom spacious!
Fab was more than helpful. Gave some advice along with being generally a delightful person to be around. Warm and caring. Great cook!
Unlike most places where you felt the included breakfast was sub par. Twas flavourful and obviously made by someone who isn’t just trying to rush you or deliver bland food.
I’ve spent a lot more. And been completely disappointed. But Fab and Pure Chalet definitely delivered without a doubt. And more than felt it was money well spent!
I’ll without a doubt I’ll be coming back to stay.
Hopefully for longer! (And we both agree too)

Thanks again! I’ll be back both in and out of peak season!

A bit further away from the snow fields but still a short walk down. Beautiful bedrooms and views from the bedroom and the communual dining area. The chalets have only a few rooms so it's quite romantic and boutique like. Breakfast is made to order. Would definitely come back.

Cosy yet spacious chalet with clean, comfortable rooms, king size beds, heated bathroom floors and towel rails, Foxtel in each room and a gorgeous fireplace in the common lounge/dining area to keep warm. Our lovely resident hosts looked after us and made our stay enjoyable, as well as cooked our choice of home-made breakfast, which was delicious. Board games to play, espresso coffee machine and a drying room for snow-covered clothes. Definitely recommend staying here!

Such a beautiful place! My partner and I came to stay for the night and it was absolutely gorgeous. Our room was so lovely, sparkling clean and perfectly warm, the bed was so comfortable and the towels were fluffy and soft. We couldn’t have been happier with the stay, so much so that we were back on booking.com while we were in bed there, finding the next vacancy to rebook! Everything was beautifully presented; if you need a place to stay in Thredbo, this is your place!

The place has to be one of the best in Thredbo. Although the outside looks like any other ski chalet at Thredbo, inside it feels like a modern house. Each room has it's own ensuite bathroom with heated floors, Foxtel, and view of the slopes. Our host served up a delicious breakfast in the shared common room, and they were great in giving tips to us and fellow visitors on things to do. The only downside to this place is the long walk up/down stairs to get to the Main Village at Thredbo. Otherwise, would stay again for sure.

Fab was the ultimate host who kept the chalet pristine and cooked a delicious breakfast each day. Our room was cosy and relaxing with great mountain views. Lovely birds come to feed in the afternoons. Ultimate place for rest and relaxation. Elderly people may struggle with the stairs.

I stayed at the Pure Chalet Thredbo for two days and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The staff’s hospitality was exceptional, immaculate spacious room, and an amazing breakfast menu with a stunning view of the Thredbo Valley. Overall, it felt like we never left home, so comforting and amazing experience.

My partner and I stayed at Pure Chalet Thredbo for a night in July, and it was wonderful. The side of our (exceptionally comfortable) room facing the mountain was all windows, so we got to wake up to a 180° view of the snow-covered slopes. Beautiful. The hot breakfast was excellent, and we got to watch birds hop around the bird-feeder on the balcony while we ate. I wish we could've stayed longer!

I stayed at Pure Chalet for 4 nights in August 2019 as treat for myself to get in some snowboarding before the snow melted! Pure Chalet was great! The room was a generous size, big comfortable bed, the room nice and toasty and the bathroom was elegant with a great shower and heated flooring! The room and bathroom were both immaculate. The hosts were lovely and friendly with lots of useful information, the communal area with cosy fire was great for breakfast and a brief chat with other visitors, and was nice to hang out with a book and some tunes in the afternoon when the snow was too slushy. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast and all delicious. If you get chance I’d recommend getting a massage from the local lady (Kerri and Andrew have a flyer for her business) it was amazing and just what I needed after 3 days on the mountain. Location was also great, just down a set of steps to the bus if you don’t fancy walking to the ski lifts, but just a brief walk to town. All in all a fantastic stay, I’d definitely recommend it and hope to get back there soon :)

We had a lovely evening in Thredbo a couple of weeks ago. Staying at Pure Chalet Thredbo was very good. Our hosts were very friendly and breakfast was fabulous. Lovely also to be able to help yourself to an espresso anytime. The only negative I have is that the shower was in the bath (which is something I dislike). In addition a lot of stairs down to the town and back up again, which didn’t worry us though may not suit everyone.

Everything was perfect, we wanted to relax and gaze upon the snowy landscape in comfort , everything exceeded our expectations. The view from our room and the dining table was so beautiful and the service was exceptional. We had our own parking area close to the chalet and could easily walk down to the shops and restaurants. Pure chalet Thredbo only has a small number of rooms for rent and we felt privileged to be in such a lovely place. A delicious Breakfast was also made for us to add to a very special getaway.

The first thing I loved was the amazing view from our bed! The coffee maker with all the coffee you want and the lovely fireplace was next. Then the amazing breakfast which was included in the tariff was exceptional. It was really great having our own parking spot and I loved the heated floor and towel racks in the generous ensuite. The only down sides was the smallness of the room, the lack of railing on the stairs and the couches in the shared living area could have been comfier.

I stayed solo in downstairs room #3 at Pure Chalet for a mid-week summer getaway.

The place is easy to find as is the parking, people with mobility issues will struggle with the many stairs to get from the top to the chalet, and then another flight to get to the bottom floor if you're in room 3 or 4.

I was greeted by Fab, who is one of the managers. She was absolutely lovely and very understanding of my covid nervousness (the other house guests were not wearing masks as they should have been) arranging for me to eat in my room. There are delicious home cooked meals available and I can vouch for the canneloni! So good, as was the ice cream desert.

There wasn't really enough room for me to comfortable hang in the common area while other guests were around (again covid), and be aware that the dining area is one large table, so if you're not into socialising with people you don't know, something to be aware of. The deck however, is lovely with a stunning view and lots of avian friends.

The room itself was comfortable.
+ves
- Heated floor tiles and towel heater in the bathroom!
- Huge bath and spotlessly clean
- Lovely atmosphere and view
- Comfy couch
- Lamps with warm lighting
- Felt secure
- Extra pillows
- Spotless throughout

-ves
- Creaky floorboards from above and every movement is heard. I was fortunate to stay where all the other guests were older, so I had noise at 6am rather than 2am partying. This could be an issue in the winter months.
- One openable window. The room was quite stuffy, and a small fan would be great for warmer days.
- Althought comfy, the king was two singles pushed together, so not really a king and a hard ridge in the middle. Could be solved with a memory foam topper.
- Would be amazing to add a small tea kettle and basic tea/coffee facilities
- Room #3 was quite dark. I snuck a peak into #4 which was vastly different with panoramic windows. Depends what you like I guess! Dark can be cosy.

Overall it was a comfortable stay. I was lucky with noise from above, I feel that it could easily ruin a good nights sleep. I again have to commend the amazing service from Fab, plus her delicious cooking!
