Mt Macedon Bonsai Nursery

Wide variety of bonsai and a pleasant atmosphere. It was great talking to Malcom. He showed us around the nursery and shared great wealth of information.
I truly admire his love and passion for bonsai. He wasn’t trying to make just a sale rather he wanted to find the best possible home for his bonsai.
We’ll visit again soon

The most magical place for bonsais! Malcom is extremely knowledgeable and kind - I absolutely loved our chat. He’s very passionate about what he does and you can see that from his beautiful collection. Couldn’t recommend it enough! Will be back for sure. I’m very happy I found him and my new bonsai. :)

I got a bonsai from these guys last year and when it got too much sun (by accident), they told me what to do to try and save it. Come spring, it is flourishing. 🩷

This Nursery was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been to- filled with beautiful bonsai, many for sale ,some for display. All to be admired. Not an inch of this garden is wasted…. So beautiful and Malcolm is an absolute wealth of information and passionate about his craft. We’ll be back often.

Beautiful, calming nursery with many, many bonsai to discover everywhere you look. Then to add to the bonsai we find Malcolm who seems to be a walking encyclopaedia on bonsai and ever so generous in sharing his knowledge and invitation to come back sometime. So glad we found this nursery, definitely will be returning.

I arranged a visit today and was impressed by the knowledge of Malcolm. I have been influenced by videos and books over the past 50 odd years and it was refreshing to experience a new perspective on preparing my trees. I am indebted for a new aspect and went straight home to begin my rejuvenation. Thank you, Malcolm and I look forward to another visit.

Amazing and peaceful place, especially in the rain. Despite the weather, Malcolm came out to greet me, show me around and tell fantastic stories about his trees. Will most certainly be back!
