Cafe Francais

I will give this restaurant 5 stars because everything we ordered was very delicious, came fast and was also price wise on point. They have a lot of space inside, and although we came for lunch and hadn’t booked a table, they found a nice place for me and my dad. I can’t really say much about the french influence of the restaurant, but I ordered a salad with falafel (which was vegan!) and my dad the quiche. The dessert with the smashed croissant was heavenly, so definitely try that if you can! The staff was friendly, and the ambience nice. Altogether a nice place to grab some food, but nothing extraordinary (:

great location, great food and menu. had beef medallions with wild garlic risotto and it was fantastic. very nice and warm days to sit outside or at the window, moderate traffic but not too distracting. have been here a few times over the years and it’s always been great.

Over all a great restaurant, food and service was awesome! the only thing drawback although its not a bog thing at all was that it was really busy and therefore a little loud. But that might also be just me being a bit more sensitive lately.
In general i can recommend and would come again!

While exploring vienna we came across this cafeteria..good atmosphere...Creme brulee was so good..it remind me of france....good waiters and hospitality and location perfect

Overall, easily one of the best places to enjoy an evening or a morning break. Whether for breakfast (the croissant are amazing) , or casual evening hunger.

Popular brunch spot near the uni. The French toast was perfect, with the right amount of egg. Make sure you book a table around lunch time as it fills up fast. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Dog friendly too.

Awesome place to catch up with friends, enjoy tasty French cuisine and wine selection! A place I am always happy to visit.

Had a very nice brunch here, everything was delicious and very filling. The portions are quite big and I recommend getting more dishes to share at the table if you can't decide what to eat. I really enjoyed the baguette with mozarella & prosciutto and the french toast. Wouldn't recommend to sit outside in the street on a busy day, as the sound of the cars can be a bit disturbing. Other than that, 5 stars!

I had already heard about this cafe and I decided to try it. It is located quite central in Vienna, at a busy avenue. The place is nice decorated, with 2 floors and plenty of space. The menu is quite long, with many options, including vegetarian ones.
I ordered an onion soup, a Lillet spritzer, Trüffel-Pommes (chips/fries with truffles and a delicious dip), and a warm chocolate cake. Everything was simply delicious. The soup was very substantial (gastronomically speaking). The Lillet was refreshing and amazingly good. The chips were also good, as a good balance of crunchiness and softness. The warm cake (along with berries) was simply delicious. The staff were very gentle and usually fast on taking the order/delivering it.
It was a totally worthy experience and I will certainly recommend to friends.

My wife and I popped in for coffee and crepes while sightseeing in the city. Coffee was of good quality and the crepes were delicious! Beautiful setting too as the cafe overlooks the Votiv Cathedral

Great breakfast, nice location, great view outside. Interior also very pleasent, great place for breakfast. We had tea/coffee and "Bel Mondo" breakfast. And I was supprise how big they were. You will not get out of there hungry. Local is quite spacious, with 2 floors.

The food was really delicious and worth to give it a try. I have ordered the Moroccan soup and a salad with leek and smoked salmon. It was really good and I didn't regret about it. Also I had problems with the WiFi connection and wanted to see the world cup. So the staff suggested a help and rebooted a router for me, after that the connection was quite good :) in addition to a good service and nice food you will get a great view to the Votivkirche church. So I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Great location, feels just like Paris. Great food and tea. Perfect from brunch! We had no reservation but the staff managed to find us a table anyway!
