Restaurant Sole

I deleted my last review, to post this because Google permits only one per guest and I have been here so many times…
We have dined at this amazing restaurant too many times to count! When we travel to Vienna, from England, one of the first things we do is to ask our Concierge to make a booking (or two!) at Sole!
The ambience is lovely, the team is clearly very happy as we see the same people every time! Food is of the highest quality and service is flawless!
The team speak really good English and are very warm and professional. They know us well by now, and welcome us but they treat all guests so well.
The owner is such a genuinely warm and engaging gentleman: he checks on guest enjoyment and values his team and guests.
I would recommend that anybody wishing to enjoy the delights here, book early as they get very busy.

Service, quality, taste and location are great.
They offered us a seat at the bar since the restaurant tables were fully occupied.
We had spaghetti with ground beef, shrimp risotto, coca cola and a small bottle of water.
I would eat there every single day.

My experience at Ristorante Sole

A cute little italian restaurant in the vienna city center. This place is cosy and quite fancy. The bathroom is covered with pink tiles and is very fancy. The staff takes your jacket and hangs it up. Very welcoming.I would recommend booking a table though.

Now let’s talk about the main attraction-food.
Me and a group of friend ordered risotto, pasta, veal and diavollo pizza to share. The food and drinks come almost immediately. The pizza was actually quite nice, but not worth 16€. Same about the other food. Except the veal. Personally the only thing that actually looked fancy was the veal. The rest was pretty good. The portion sizes are mid sized.

Let’s move on to the financial part.As I said the food was quite nice.But Restaurant Sole doesn’t offer reasonable prices in terms of quality and the amounts of food they serve.

Overall my experience here was pleasant. I’m not fully satisfied.Highly recommend.

This is a great place for an Italian dinner. Large wine selection, not too loud, and located next to many shopping places and St Ann's Church for those looking for classical music concerts.

Very cozy and delicious! We had the seafood spaghetti and veal cutlets. The seafood is super nice with white wine. Also the lady’s room is quite cute. The restaurant gave me a very comfortable feeling and I like the service here

The best dinner we had in Vienna so far. We (my wife and I) came to the full place with no reservation. Still, the host/owner brought an additional table and two chairs and arranged a very cozy sitting for us. Service and food were outstanding (as well as the list of Italian vines). Thanks a lot!

Great hospitality by the owner whom you'll see outside the restaurant in a suit and beautiful smile.

The food was delicious. We ordered the Angel Hair with Shrimp and the Ravioli. Both were fantastic and very flavorful.

The service by the wait staff was very welcoming and attentive.

The ambiance is semi casual and can be romantic depending on the time of day.

Just the best restaurant with best service and best food!

Wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of old Vienna center.

The food is of very high quality. I loved the Italian sausage and porcini pasta. The sea bass tartar with avocado was perfect. Great service. Prices are steep, but worth it. Extensive list of Austrian and international wines.

There’s seating outside available as well. Highly recommended.

We were 4 of us. Started with a delicious Pizza. And the Main course was Seafood Linguine. One of the best I ever had. Super delicious with a good portion of mixed seafood.
Desert equally impressive.
The Waiter Giovanni was an Excellent host. Very attentive.

Italian restaurant in a quiet street (only pedestrians allowed). Staff friendly and welcoming.
Food is of a high quality. Had tomatoes with onions and olive oil for starter. Tomatoes had lots of flavor and nicely presented.
Pizza salami for main course. Well cooked and again nicely flavored (buffalo mozzarella? Did not ask).
Prices reasonable for location and good food.

Excellent Italian restaurant with very good service and cosy armosphere. Saturday night all tables were reserved but they serve same menu on bar side too. We had group of three and one came a bit later than others so orders went in to kitchen on different times but we got food on table at the same time. Just a thoughtful gesture and very professional service attitude.

Food was delicious and in meantime the hospitality from Mr. Aki Nuredini, the owner was wonderful.

Visited with group of friends. Everything about this restaurant was superb. Quality food, excellent wines, very friendly and efficient service. Tiramasu was the best I've ever tasted!

A very classy italian restaurant in the heart of Vienna. Friendly and professional warm welcoming by restaurant manager and excellent and caring service. Staff is the best I have ever experienced. All was cooked in perfection with freshest ingredients coming straight from Italy. Highly recommend caprese salad with fresh mozzarella and foccacia or homemade ravioli stuffed pasta and octopus. Hands down some of the best food I’ve had recently!!!!!!!!
