Wow.. Great Thai Restaurant in a cute area of Vienna 🇹🇭🇦🇹😊

I love my food and I ended up eating at Thai Isaan Kitchen, 3 days in a row. I guess I was craving good Thai food and the restaurant hit my spot. 😁 It’s also the perfect spot for solo eating if you’re alone. ☀❤

The owner run restaurant and takeaway is small and cosy. You sit whilst facing the kitchen and bar area. The staff are all Thai with positive vibes, so I had a good laugh for the three times I ate here. ✅

Portions are pretty big and the flavours are authentic (I grew up in Bangkok so can confirm). The locals in Vienna also know about this place because it was packed every night I ate there. ⭐

I recommend the Khao Pad Moo (fried rice with pork) which was spot on, you can also get this with other proteins if you don’t do pork.

Thank you Thai Isaan team for the very yummy Thai food!

A small Thai restaurant with Thai people working in the kitchen. Located in a less touristic part of the city, it is a place for an authentic Thai dining in a casual environment m. This is definitely not a high-end restaurant with refined Thai cuisine. You order at the counter and pay at the same counter when you leave.

We ordered Thai beef salad and Nam Tok Mu (pork). Nam Tok Mu was delicious as it tasted similar to what I would get in Thailand, but Thai Beef salad (Yum nua) wasn’t as authentic as I had expected. Maybe they made it milder for locals. In any case, you will not be hugely disappointed with the taste of their food as long as the kitchen is run by Thais. Their portions are generous, and the prices are really reasonable for the amount food you get.

I’d love to go back to this restaurant even alone as its ambience is less intimidating for a single person dining. That is right. I found their staff were very friendly, too. A Thai lady serving tried to talk to me in Thai language, which I thought was a great gesture. Too bad I could only communicate with her very little with my broken Thai.

A very good place to have Thai food. Fresh ingredients and delicious taste. The mango sticky rice was so rich with coconut milk. Will definitely come again.

What can I say. In my opinion one of the top Thai restaurants in Vienna. It can take a while to get a table, but the taste of the food is worth every minute of waiting. Thank you for this great food.

The food here is great! Very authentic Issan food cooked in an open kitchen that looks just like Thailand style. The owners are also so friendly and speak German, Thai and English. Highly recommended.

This is the best Thai restaurant in German-speaking world of Europe. The taste is not only Thai-authentic but also have a distinctive style of north-eastern (Isaan) Thailand. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and cozy. This is the perfect dining place if you are missing South East Asia or want to taste Thai with your friends or family. For a Burmese student like me, this is the closet I felt home in Vienna. Try it and I promise you won’t regret. This is one of the places I will miss most in Vienna.

One of our favorite places in Vienna. They serve the best Thai food we've had in a long time. Tiny place, very casual, food is prepared in front of you upon placing the order. Favorite Tom Yum soup and curry! Must try.

After 2 weeks traveling alone in Europe, finally I found real Thai food. I ordered “Nam Tok Moo” pork spicy salad with roasted sticky rice powder and Thai herbs, I requested for Thai Spicy and got what I want. I ate it with steamed sticky rice, it was very delicious and also big portion. All staffs I met are Thai, they are very nice, friendly and warm welcome. Highly recommended!

รสชาติเหมือนทานที่ไทยเลยค่ะ อาหารอร่อย เผ็ดถึงใจ พนักงานใจดีและต้อนรับแบบเป็นกันเองมากค่ะ

Excellent food! Freshly prepared in an open kitchen. Place is small and only has a few tables but the food is worth the wait. Tastes better than it looks.
Clothes however slightly smell like food afterwards.

I fortunately live close by to this Thai restaurant and order takeaway from here all the time! All dishes I’ve tried so far are delicious, but my favourite is the crispy pork belly with greens!

Nice and authentic food. I have laap gai+kao nyao and was really good. I'm from Laos so sometimes I need to have a proper Lao/isaan food. Price I guess average in Vienna (19euro), to be honest portion was quite big for one person but better a lot of food than little. Maybe need to improve the atmosphere that look a bit simple but is just a suggestion, everything was perfect

I live close from this place and walk 10min to come here from time to time. I have never been in Thailand so I cannot say if it’s authentic food or not but what I can say is, it tastes exceptionally well!
I used to order the Kokos curry with chicken but gradually changed to the vegetarian version (No.49). What I love is how they cut the veggies into big pieces so there is more texture to chew on:)
The amount of rice compared to the rest is a bit less than what I’m used to but I learned to ration it the right way here. It’s a small place and usually full so I often call 15min before I come to pick it up.

We were visiting Vienna for 6 days and went to this restaurant one night. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The price was very affordable. If we ever visit again we would definitely go back and we highly recommend this place for anyone

Great price/performance and very kind stuff! If you arrive before 15.00 there is also a “lunch” option from the menu.
