It was busy but we were lucky enough to squeeze in on the Saturday lunchtime. Have the traditional soup, goulash and goose, all top quality. The staff were very friendly. The deco was traditional and the atmosphere was great. Love it and definitely recommend it if you are looking for a traditional cuisine.

The best food I tried so far in Vienna, delicious, big portions and excellent price. Everything is so well cooked. Definitely come again and again.

For starters we had onion and celery soup-second one is a on the seasonal menu. As main dish we had Weiner and Liver Schnitzel, everything was delicious. Cute place at the neighbourhood.

Fantastic place and service. Some of the specials might only be available in German, so use Google Translate. Seasonal specials, such as goose or pumpkin soup, are amazing.

Classic Austrian cuisine served in a spacious dining all by attentive staff. Everything is tasty and most Austrian. Schnitzel and the cordon blue are my favs! Nice wine selection by the glass as well. Also very local not touristy at all!

Arrived in Vienna and wanted to try the local cuisine. This place was recommended so we walked down without a reservation and tried our luck. The restaurant was busy inside and outside, but the waiter found us a table outside which was nice. We both had a drink each and a main course each, I can't remember the names of the dishes, but they were really good and filling, we couldn't eat dessert after. The waiter was nice, the atmosphere was nice too. The place is dog friendly and the prices are normal for Vienna and for the quality. I would recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic experience. I ordered goose and got half a goose, which was deleciuois. Very good service, big portions and authentic experience.

Came around 4pm on a Friday, got a table easily. I got the leberknodelsuppe (liver dumpling soup), pork weiner schnitzel, and a glass of the house gruner veltliner. All were tasty, the soup was surprisingly light but also salty so it was revitalizing after walking all day. The schnitzel was hot and fresh and had a good flavor, huge for one person but that's on me, and the price was good. The potato salad on the side was tasty and a good counterbalance to the schnitzel, it was creamy and had a zing. The staff were a bit busy but still attentive enough for me to order without problems, I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind being left alone. Both people who served me spoke English.

Turned up without reservations on a Friday evening and were accommodated with minimal fuss - the staff were friendly and helpful.

This place will serve you the best Austrian food you’ll ever have.. Or at least come close. I tried an Austrian classic called Tafelspitz. The dish was very well elaborated. You could see that there was a lot of effort on the preparation. Tasted superb. Drank the Grösser draft, which is always a safe call for a nice, smooth beer. At the end, I tried the emperor’s dessert, the kaiserschmarrn. It’s basically chopped pancake bits with a berry sauce over it. Still, very well made and a worthy dessert. Service was as good as you could ever expect. So much respect, even if the customer can’t pronounce a word of german. The price here is a bit steep.. But, you get what you pay for. And in this case, that’s excellence! 😄

If you want to feel and taste real Vienna, this is the place to go to. Best Schnitzel we had during our trip, and we had several. Atmosphere, service, and overall experience was great!

Great food, great service, great vibes. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, which came with a tasty potato salad. The schnitzel was cooked delightfully and remained quite juicy. Salad was doused a bit too heavily in dressing but was a nice balance for a great meal. The portion sizes were quite large - two people could easily split the schnitzel dish.

Very good place, food is very good, in amount and quality, and service is kind and fast. Not cheap though, but you get what you pay. Highly recommended.

They speak English and the menu is also translated in English. Is very tourist friendly.

This was a truly local place on a Wednesday afternoon it was busy and we after appeared to be the only tourists. We enjoyed a delicious traditional Austrian meal. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel served with potato salad and a side of cranberry jam (recommend by our server). It was delicious and large enough to share. The unfiltered Zwickelbier was fantastic. My wife enjoyed her Spatzle with bacon and scallions.

An absolutely delightful place in Vienna - would highly recommend - excellent traditional Austrian cuisine, super friendly service and they looked after my mother for her 60th very well. Will definitely be returning on my next visit to Wien!

I came in at 10:30pm on a Friday night and ordered a Surschnitzel, a potato salad and a beer. Everything was fabulous. The service was friendly and fast. The vibe was a delight. I'll be back.

had a short stay in Vienna and went here last minute before leaving. they were able to squeeze us in without a reservation. food was great and staff was very nice too. great value for what you pay
