Nice Gothic church near the Rathaus in Vienna. There weren't too many people when I was there. It was pretty cold inside (being December), so remembering a coat during the winter is imperative. Beautiful stained glass windows. I also caught the rehearsals for a Christmas concert, which was really lovely.

Votivkirche is a very well designed church. It’s really wonderful, looks great. The statues around the church are very well. There are stained glasses on the windows and each one tell different stories. The shape and white design shows church wonderful.

Huge church, the size of a cathedral. Free entry. Lots of men in military uniform when we visited. Added to the lovely atmosphere. If your passing it's worth a quick stop.

The Votive Church in Vienna indeed showcases captivating exterior beauty reminiscent of Barcelona's La Sagrada Familia. Despite its smaller scale, its architectural charm and Austria's preservation of historical buildings make it a must-visit.

A very beautiful cathedral. Free admission. In the middle, we were impressed by the unusually colored stained glass windows.

Impressive church with rich decorated facades. It is relatively new, built on land emerged after demolition of Viennas protective walls around 1st district. It was recently restored and cleaned.

You can visit for free. It’s very bright and impressive. This neo-gothic church has quite an interesting story, being sponsored by, at the time, the future emperor of Mexico and brother to Franz Josef I.
The stained glass inside is worth a visit. There is also a chapel dedicated to Madonna of Guadalupe, a rare sight in Europe.

A beautiful neo-Gothic style church built in the 19th century, an echo of distant Gothic architecture. The entrance to the inside of the church is free and you can see the beautiful stained glass windows from nearby because you can see all parts of the church without borders except for the part that is currently being restored. The park around the church is also very beautiful and not very crowded compared to other cathedrals in Vienna.

One of my favorite churches to visit when in Vienna. Although it is undergoing renovations it doesn’t take away from the interiors beauty. Some of the best stained glass windows I’ve seen. The main altar is beautiful without being gaudy. I have visited this church over a dozen times in the past 4 yrs and always leave with a peaceful heart.

The Votivkirche is truly a sight to behold! Even though I only saw it from the outside, its stunning architecture left us in awe. A must-see landmark that showcases the beauty of Vienna.

Stunningly beautiful gothic church in the style that’s omnipresent in Viennese architecture. Compared to its sister cathedral, St. Stephen’s in the center of Vienna, this is obviously a lot quieter as it’s a few stones throws away from the absolute city center. No queues and a lot quieter and less disturbed by tourists, although they do flock here. The spires and towers are awe-inspiring and the stained windows are super colorful. Worth a visit.

The church was under some reconstructions when we got there but, the overall feeling was just overwhelming. The gothic style in architecture is simply stunning.
It was built in 18th century as a gratitude to God for saving the life of emperor Franz Joseph the 1st when an association attempt was made on him.

Very, very beautiful church. Th interior is just mesmerazing, I would even say it's more beautiful than Stephansdom due to the stained glass inside.
