Café Konditorei Ingrid Bürger

We came to explore the Servitenviertel and began with breakfast here. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere, just the quiet buzz of conversation as the snow fell outside. Nothing fancy, just traditional Handsemmel and trimmings, and good coffee and tea. We didn't have cakes but they look good. We stayed longer than we meant, which is a good sign. Friendly, quiet, efficient staff too.

As tourists, we found this cafe frequented by locals. Menus were only in German, would have been intimidating except our server was very kind and gave us good recommendations! We ordered the Marillenstrudel (apricot strudel) and a seasonal plum pastry and were blown away. For coffee, we ordered the Einspanner (espresso with whipped cream). Highly recommend this cafe.

Be ready to visit very old cafe (don’t except modern design). But “Krapfen“ and „Erdbeerstrudel“ are super delicious 🤤

What a lovely find.

The cafe Ingrid Bürger is quaint yet sophisticated with a broad and delicious variety of baked goods, fresh produce, sweets and of course great coffee.

We were early to the farmers market and stopped here for a coffee and a bite to eat. The “non modern” feel to the place really works, helped along by the relaxed and helpful attitude of both client and staff, which you can see makes this a popular place for both locals and those passing through (like us).

We had the boiled egg, the omelette and some coffees, teas and hot chocolate.

You could not fault a thing given the simplicity and perfection in the service, meals and quality.

If you’re learning how to speak German don’t hesitate to try here as they are most patient and friendly.

When in the area make sure to drop in even if only for a coffee, a treat or something more substantial to eat.

I love the place. Always delicious self made pastries. However,I would love to know if the opening hours are still correct. I recommend the eierlikör Schnitte.

A very cute place in the atmosphere of old cafes. The waitress so polite , cute and humorous. I hope i ll go again.

Old café with a charming quaint atmosphere and very polite and friendly staff. We were even given an extra juice with breakfast just because one item from the menu was not available when we asked for it. Amazing place for a snack, breakfast and cofee.

Location is perfect! Always friendly, very good coffee, marvelous bakery. There is striezel and there is the striezel they bake: best ever!

One of our local friends told us this is the best place in Vienna for pastries. I haven't tried everywhere else, but this is the best place I know in the world!
