Quite possibly the best Austrian food in Vienna. And it's not just that the food isn great, but the staff is super friendly and attentive. We've been there a dozen times now and it never disappoints. This all leads to a very loyal following from the neighborhood, and it's rare to see tourists out here. That said, it's less than 20 minutes from the city center via the #40 tram. Just go to the last station and your there ! They have a daily prix fixe menu option and Thursday is my favorite with the very generous Wiener Schnitzel. Yesterday we had Frittatensuppe, Fischsuppe and shared a pear and gorgonzola ravioli in a light cream sauce. All this set in a class old Vienna building with high ceilings a wood paneled dining rooms. There are also small tables in the front room across from the bar.
Update 12/23/23: another wonderful meal with great service! Today Saturday Roast Day and the Roast Beef was stellar. It was served with au gratin potatoes and sautéed vegetables. The wild game ragout was also delicious.

Ein Fest für Augen und Geschmack. Dieses Lokal hat alles was es braucht um als Gast glücklich zu werden. #gemütlich e Atmosphäre #gastfreundlich #gaumenfreundlich #ideenreich #geschmacksintensiv #außergewöhnlich und top Personal. Hier fühlt man sich gleich sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Essen kommt rasch und es ist trotzdem immer Zeit kurz nett mit den Angestellten zu plaudern. Hier gibt es keinen Stress, nur höchste Qualität und den absoluten Wohlfühlfaktor. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Danke für den schönen Abend bei Euch.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin, wenn wir als kleine Familie oder mit Freunden einfach gut essen und uns in ruhiger und gemütlicher Athmosphäre unterhalten wollen. Kalbsschnitzerl, Backhendel, Nudelgerichte,....immer alles gut und hübsch angerichtet. Service flott und super nett. Es zahlt sich aus, den Empfehlungen zu folgen (Neulich Krake als Vorspeise, superzart auf köstlich mariniertem Salat).

Kleine, aber feine Karte mit Fleisch-, Fisch- und einigen vegetarischen Gerichten. Wir waren zu dritt und allesamt von unseren Hauptspeisen (Wiener Schnitzel, Kalbsleber und dem originell gestalteten Veggie-Burger) ebenso begeistert wie von den Desserts.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stets aufmerksam, ohne je aufdringlich zu wirken. Im Gastsaal war genug Platz und Ruhe, um bequem sitzen und ungestört plaudern zu können.
Mit einem Wort: Perfekt!
