The restaurant was located next to the hotel, we decided to have breakfast. We found ourselves in a warm homely environment, the waiter was courteous and polite. Breakfast is very good! I recommend!
After breakfast we decided to come back for dinner and treat ourselves to desserts - we were not disappointed. We found ourselves in paradise for a sweet tooth, the desserts and cocktails were special and delicious.
A very atmospheric restaurant with good traditions. I recommend everyone who finds themselves at the Vienna Opera to find it and treat themselves to desserts and cocktails.

First of all, the service was first class! We didn't receive an advance, so we need to wait 10 min in the line to get in. I believe the line in summary is much longer. The food was good , and prices were adequate. The waiter was very polite and brought some gifts for the kids. The desert was delicious 😋 . Suggest to reserve an advance, a speshaly in cold weather.

An upscale cafe serving drinks, cakes and meals. Ambiance is classic and great, but the service is a bit slow. It was crowded on Saturday afternoon, so be prepared to wait if you don’t have a reservation. Very tasty cake!

I followed a friend's recommendation to visit this special place in Vienna. It is a place that will surround you in a classic and elegant atmosphere, I would say that it is a perfect place to get in touch with the Vianes style. As far as the food is concerned, I was quite satisfied, I was not impressed but there are definitely no complaints about its quality and good taste. The service has been average, the people were very friendly, but I had to call 3 different waiters to pay my bill, all of that took 16 minutes, which for me is a waste of time. However, I liked the experience and would gladly return again.

The oldest cafe on the Ring is worth the experience. Without huve lines like the cafe central or the Landtmann, thi cafe offers absolutely the same level of quality and excellent service that all the others offer. Do not expect the waiters to be accommodating and accept requests for changes in the menu though. That's just not done Vienna!

One of our family’s two favourite cafés in Vienna. The space is beautiful, service is good, and the food is great. Have the Milchrahmstrudel, it’s excellent, and the hot chocolate is lovely too.

A ‘must do’ either before or after your show at the Vienna State Opera! Wonderful service, ambience, and menu selections.

What a fun experience! The coffee was great, we had a small dessert… loved it. Service was excellent and the ambiance was superb. Very fun to learn the historical significance as well.

Cute historic cafe. Food and coffee are pretty good. Staff is very nice. My husband had the goulash and the Viennese style coffee with ice cream in it. I had the spinach strudel. He enjoyed his slightly more than I did, but we both enjoyed it

My boyfriend and I came here on April 2024. Our aim was to taste some of the typical dishes of Vienna. We took an apple strudel and a Sachertorte. The taste was amazing and a particular mention goes to the waiter, a man of Croatia, he was so kind! He gave us so much attention: he helped us in choosing from the menu and he proposed to take pictures for and to us. I recommend going to this place!

One of the older cafes in Vienna, came here with friends for a coffee and cake. There is plenty of variety to choose from in terms of cake and also an extensive coffee and food menu. I enjoyed the Viennese iced coffee and kardinalschnitte. It was light and fluffy. Perfect. My friend got the schichttorte which he said was one of the best he had in Venice. Coffee was perfect and came out promptly. Service was average. We had to ask 3 waiters before we finally got the check at the end but overall the cafe is a great place to chill and take it easy. They also have a proper food menu as well for breakfast

Cozy and Traditional. Feels a hark back to Imperial Vienna. Staff are really polite. The Apple Strudel is lovely(first time having it), the Cranberry Tea is perfect, and the Sisi Cake is amazing

Everything about this place was 5 star! Loved the food and service was amazing. Café is set in a central part with trams and old world architecture. Felt very European! I had the grilled shrimp salad, with Turkish coffee and apple strudel. Would come back in a heartbeat 💯

One of the oldest coffee houses in Wein. A little away from the tourist traps. Found the staff friendly helpful and got a table for 2 right away the last one, as it was busy.

A classic Viennese cafe house that has been around forever. It is a very elegant place with wait staff that continues with the old style traditions. The tortes are sublime, the coffee is perfect, and their food menu is classic Austrian dishes all made very well. If you sit outside, some tables even offer a view of the Karlskirche. Wonderful.

Good historic place to have coffee and breakfast. It's slightly away from the busy crowds of the inner city while still very accessible. Waiting staff was good and talked to us in English. Bread rolls were nice and given the location, it wasn't too expensive.
