The main building of the University of Vienna, also called "Hauptuni," is located in the first district, right on the Universitätsring. It was built by Heinrich Ferstel in 1873. Today, it's not just the university's headquarters, but also a great place for events like conferences and cultural happenings. Its beautiful spaces and history make it special.

I only visited for a couple of minutes while touring the city. Lovely building!
There’s a U-Bahn right next to the university, and right there are lot of shops that sell all sort of stuff. Will make a good break spot in between classes.

Wonderful university! Founded in 1884. It has a beautiful central garden where the students can relax. There is a coffee shop with some tables as well. The corridors are filled with statues or busts of old professors. Definitively worth the visit.

Super old university (since 1300s) with elegant, exquite buildings.

The inside square has many statutes from scientists that were researching at the university. The history is fabulously displayed. The monument with the Nobel prize winners at the entrance was great too!

Really awesome university for studying. Vienna (Wien) is one of the best place that people around world want to live including infrastructure, safety, transportation, health and education. This university tells everything about how good is this city. One of the fact that I was surprised was Karl Lansteiner, the one I respect the most, was alumni of this university who saved 1 billion of patients' lives discovered ABO blood type. There is university square(park) which is really nice and cool place for studying in the summer.

One of the best European universities with a large history of successful academic life. The Musicology department is well known internationally.

Amazing university! Very beautiful buildings, incredible atmosphere. Very nice library nicely organized to work the whole day with sockets at every table and the Wi-Fi! At every corner place to take a sit. Some places to have a coffee and some food.

Not a tourist place, but must be seen.

Wonderful and beautiful campus. It is very inspiring to see the statue of all the scientists and Nobel laureates associated with the University of Vienna. This place is very well connected with the public transport. I highly recommend checking this pace.
