Patara Restaurant Vienna GmbH

Had a great night with delicious food at the Patara enjoying Thai food in a fine dining manner. We were prepared for high prices, but especially looking at the starters makes the fine dining part very clear.

Overall still good, but maybe a bit too dark inside the restaurant.

Patara is a very good Thai restaurant which has a very high and reliable level of cuisine!
The service is always friendly and the atmosphere is chilled. As a tip, I prefer to sit upstairs.
The daily menu is also very good value.

It's a wonderful place. Great atmosphere. The kitchen is fast. It's not expensive and the waiters are nice. They have a varied menu and the food is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Been eating here since many years…always consistent. Their desserts namely mango sticky rice and durian are original. One negative point is their Thai ice tea which way too sweet and light in texture and taste.

Great location and very nice, clean and modern Restaurant. Very nice and friendly staff. Food tasted also good, would just suggest to offer extra Chili or similar, as it was not as spicy as traditional Thai cuisine. But still authentic good taste

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere right in the heart of city center. We had the spicy beef, coconut beef, curry fried rice, and veggie curry.

My very mild vegetarian red curry was perfect, a piece of art! The waiter is such a kind Person, serv8ce was 5 stars, he ordered just what I needed at the kitchen! This is by far the best thai restaurant in Vienna, it has 5 star cuisine, and so beautifully decorated! It is definitely one of the restaurants to visit when in Vienna.

Absolutely five stars! The food was glorious, delicious, presented beautifully and the service was fantastic. I was so impressed with this restaurant and I can't wait to return. From the very moment we walked in I was wowed. The seating and ambiance of the restaurant were perfect, everything went together beautifully.

I was also taken aback and completely impressed with the fact this restaurant had ice cubes for drinks. Amazing! Very few times have we been to a place outside our home where we have been offered ice for our soft drinks. We come from the US where everything comes with ice cubes and we all like our drinks cold, so moving to Austria where ice cubes are non-existent was tough. Patara having ice was the absolute icing on the cake for me. A+!!!

The food was melt in your mouth delicious, full of flavor and the flavors complimented each other so wonderfully. The appetizers, the main and the dessert, I cannot say enough good things about the food. Delicious!!

Delicious food and cosy atmosphere

Delicious food, very tasty, authentic Thai cuisine in a nice ambience; friendly and helpful service staff. Don’t miss this place!

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Patara before the concert at St Anne's Church this evening. We made an early reservation - and had our choice of tables. We took one outside and were attended to by no less than three separate servers - all very friendly and professional. I had the glass noodles with seafood - at 24 Euros it is expensive, but the portion had a generous amount of fresh scallops, shrimp, and calamari, in a very delicious sauce. My husband had a glass noodle dish with tofu - We really enjoyed the quality of the ingredients and service. Inside is more formal and interesting, with upstairs tables that overlook St Peter's Church. Great location.

Amazing service. Super great food. Pad Thai tasted like when I was in Thailand. This was our anniversary dinner choice. We sat on the terrace as the weather was nice. One thing though they close early. They turned away a few cx. I would recommend A++

Fabulous and delicious Thai food in Vienna. Upscale eatery with authentic dishes. Go for the sliced duck as well as the fish wrapped in banana leaves. So tasty!

Authentic thai with very generous portions, good quality and delicious.

A lovely Thai restaurant in a fab location!

Tried many thai restaurants all over europe n patara is easily one of the best. The pad thai goong was amazing so are the other 4 dishes we ordered. Nice ambience n lovely service. In vienna for 4 days and visited twice. Id be back. Slightly higher price but u get what u paid for. Superb.

Good food in elegant surroundings. Menu had a good selection and all four of us enjoyed their meals. I would have been happy with more spice but I guess that's a local variation, was still very tasty. Staff were all great, very attentive and helpful. I guess you don't go to Vienna to eat Thai but if you want a change from sausage and schnitzel then this place is worth a look.

Delicious food, interesting decor kind service. Book early. But for Austria I could not believe the hidden pattern on the back of the chairs!!!???
