Really hidden gem. One of the best Italian restaurants in Vienna. Too sad we found it in our last day. We will definitely be back. Amazing food and service. Ps the green olives they serve are the best olives I have ever tried in my life.

Have loved going to Il Cavalluccio for years, including the bar and relatively new Enoteca (cosy wine bar). We love the service and the kitchen...it's always a special experience that we enjoy at least every other week or so. It's especially great in the late spring and summer, when dining outside is an option. The location is right in the 1st District, and yet dining on the side street feels enough out of the way to be relaxing.

Great wine bar and restaurant ! Excellent high end wine selection and wonderful truffle pasta and eggplant parmigiana. The server, Matej, was fantastic, giving us super info on all the different wine options. A little pricey but worth it with that kind of service.

A wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of Vienna. The staff are very welcoming and cheerful. The atmosphere is very cosy and romantic. The food was delicious and the price quite reasonable for so central a restaurant. Wide range of decent wines.
Good access, plenty of room for manoeuvring inside. Toilets are a different floor. Not aware of a lift.

Fantastic place in a great location! I can only recommend it - super service. The prices are about what you expect downtown Vienna. Tommaso is like a friend to his patrons, knows all his regulars and makes you feel welcome and special.

Marvellous meal and delightful staff. We had fabulous tempura prawns followed by sea bass, cooked (the best way) in salt crust. Finishing with three delicious desserts between the two of us.
The staff were attentive and good fun - Artner’s team could learn a few lessons here in customer service!

The manager was very kind and made sure we had a great time. Very tasty Lunch Menu with a reasonable pricing.

Table at short notice. Food standard excellent. Olives, bread and olive oil made a tasty aperitif. Vegetable soup was piping hot and a generous portion. Salmon and leek gnocchi had lots of flavour, texture and was well presented. Reasonably priced. A recommended find just off the main tourist traps. Will use again.

Hands down .. best Italian in Vienna. We had Truffle Linguini and seafood pasta and both were scrumptious. I’m definitely coming back.
