Volksgarten

This is a beautiful park worthy of a visit at any time of day, suitable for picnicking, strolling, photo taking, or simply as a place to which to retreat for quiet reflection. Today, on the 12th of May, the rose garden was ablaze with roses in full bloom.

Very nice and clean park. I didn't expect to see ducks here at all.

Most beautiful garden in Vienna. It's lovely, especially during sunset or a Friday afternoon. Set there for hours just taking in the views, eating ice cream. People were having picnics around and it was truly beautiful. They plant trees with dedications on them!! Loved.

Beautiful park! In the spring and summer there are lots of flowers around the park. You can see the beautiful roses in the summer.
The park is maintained very well. There are two nice sandpits (one slightly hidden and easy to miss) so kids can play too! I love spending afternoons here with my child.

Free of charge and truly wonderful. It's not just that garden, at some point you will find a building that has to do with hermes and the architecture... It just fits. If you are visiting Vienna as a couple, this place is a must go.

Really lovely gardens that are very well-kept. Surprisingly it was really quiet too. Loads of seating dotted around and interesting monuments. It also has a couple of cafes for bier or coffee and food.

Wonderful park, full of roses and other plants and flowers. Ducks and their children can be spotted in the springtime and summer. Lots of shade if it gets too hot.

A park where you can sit for HOURS doing completely nothing. I usually can't stay on one place for more than 3-5minutes, but this park is... I can't describe with words, but it really sucks you in. I sat here for 3 hours straight doing absolutely nothing but enjoying time.
