Super tasty food with a cheap price! Dishes are traditional Japanese cuisine and it was impressive to have such original flavour in Vienna. I came here for twice and enjoyed so much. Atmosphere and services was excellent too!
Highly recommend to everyone!

A must visit!
This place opened last week. Not only it looks cozy and warm. It serves the best Japanese cuisine in Vienna! The best I’ve ever tried for sure.

Also the owner is very friendly and explains in detail what’s insight of the dish.
The prices are good too. I can only recommend it for Asian (healthy/low fat) food lovers ;)

Delicious and aesthetically pleasing food (many vegan dishes) prepared with care. The interior is also very nice, we'll certainly come back.

If you are looking for a real original Japanese restaurant, this is the place!!:) It reminds me the taste from my home in Japan;))) I personally really care what I eat, but here I have no anxiety because it's very balanced, lots of veggies and no artificial additives.

Super tasty food - probably the best Miso Soup I ever had.
Traditional Japanese cuisine with tasty original flavour, fairly different to chain restaurants around Europe.
I only regret that I did not visit this restaurant earlier.
I highly recommend to everyone!

Heathy Japanese food that reminds of traditional home cooked meals in Japan. Very becoming and light on the stomach.

A very nice and authentic little japanese deli. I had the vegan bento (which is otherwise hard to get in vienna) and it was really delicious and a good large portion. The owner and his staff were also really quick and very friendly. I will definitely come again, even though it is quite far for me :).

Not only the best Japanese restaurant in Vienna, but definitely also the best Asian one! After many years in Vienna and several (secret) tips, Taya Washoku Deli surprises us every time especially with the "Augarten Picnic Bento". Greatest respect to Chef Naotaka-sama for the balance between special and down-to-earth, which is constantly found in all his dishes. High praise and to a long existence!

Definitely my favourite Japanese restaurant in Vienna!
Homemade, tasty and healthy food, like a Japanese mother/father would cook for her/his kids. The service can get a bit slower when crowded, but the food is worth the wait :D

I have loved Japanese food all my life, decided to give Taya a shot a few weeks ago. The bento box I ordered was REALLY good, authentic, and the portion wasn't too big (so that I could eat up everything). Another thing is that they use Skoonu and are part of the zero waste system - so that you don't have to worry about producing tons of waste by ordering take-away.

Would recommend Taya for sure!

If you are looking for a healthy Japanese lunch alternative to your usual sandwich, or, missing the taste of Japanese food, this is your place! The food is not only healthy but tastes wholesome + matcha gluten free products. Fully recommend!
