We had an enjoyable dining experience in this restaurant, it was one of the best dinners we had in Vienna. We reached here quite late (an hour before they closed). The staff were courteous and attentive. The food was yummy delicious. We had Lachsfilet, Zwieb Rostbraten and Spargelcremsuppe.

Oh wow! That was THE BEST wiener schnitzel! Not only was the food amazing but the staff were so friendly and sweet! This place came highly recommended and it's seems like such a nice place to frequent... also, it's a very generous portion!
And although I didn't get, I was also recommended the Zwiebelrostbraten. So try that too maybe!

What an amazing experience. The atmosphere and the decor, so cozy and inviting. The wait staff were all top notch and incredibly kind.

The food! Fresh and seasonal choices along side some classic Austrian dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious. We left completely full and very happy.

Do make a reservation, because even on a weeknight it was almost full!

Hands down the best Schnitzel in Vienna. Super nice staff, attentive and knowledgeable, excellent prices given the quality of food and service.

Very good restaurant in Vienna, we decided to try it because it was near our stay.
The beef tartare was fenomenal; highly recommended the gulasch soup and the schnitzel is just delicious. The waiter recommended us as desert their chocolate tart which was very delicious, served with a tasty vanilla ice cream

This is a great place to try traditional Austrian food for reasonable prices and in a high-end environment. I went in for the kaiserschmarnn and a hot chocolate, but the savoury dishes and, in particular, the menu of the day looked fabulous as well.

A weary good experience. Would recommend to everyone. Weary polite an welcoming personal. Food was delicious. The best winnersnichel so far! A little bit pricey but worth it, if you want to experience the famous Vienna snichel.

Great food, friendly service. Lovely garden to sit in. Personel spoke great English too. Highly recommended.

Unforgiveable experience. Not a noisy place, perfect Wienerschnitzel, wine pairing very much adequate, professionnal and kind service. I would return any time. Bravo to the owner and staff.

We were looking for a local restaurant that could offer a classic Viennese cuisine and we found out few minutes from the hostel by taxi the restaurant Meixner's Gastwirtschaft.

With a classic décor and cozy ambience, the staff were friendly and suggested us some Viennese food on the menu to try. Serge also got a beer that he liked it.

We did reserve before we left the hostel, and actually it was little busy since it was during the business week days.

The food was really taste and we had a great experience.

This place is soooo amazing - absolutely blew my expectations. We sat in their cute authentic courtyard and had delicious Austrian cheese and meats platter, whole artichoke, veal stew with chanterelle mushrooms and pan fried fish with mint, apricot and couscous salad. Finished off with the best apricot sorbet. The whole experience was intimate and elevated. Highlight of my weekend in Vienna! Thank you!

Brilliant spot, delicious food, we ate outside, the surroundings are amazing and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious and seemed to be “made with love.” The waitress, Tanya, was so knowledgeable about the menu and recommended everything from my appetizer, to my wine, to my dessert. Authentic food and cozy restaurant with a neighborhood vibe.

But it was a wholesome and genuine experience. I took an Austrain friend and he was blown away with the quality as I was.

The food was traditional, seasonal, super fresh, well cooked and honoured in a way you don't get often.

Wild garlic soup, for instance..absolutely brilliant. Perfectly made, vibrant, smooth and unforgettable.

This replicated through, vegetables, potato salad, schnitzel, sauerkraut etc......

Completely impressed and recommend it as a much better alternative to any of the alternatives now too easy to find on Google!!

There is literally not a single thing to complain about. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great.

It's definetly on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for Austrian cuisine, this is the place to go. A reservation is highly recommended. On or near Austrian festivities it will be impossible to get a place, eg.: Martinigansl...

I am extremely surprised to have found a place like this around Reumanplatz. The "Zwiebelrostbraten" is the best I have eaten in my entire life.

Great traditional restaurant with very nice food and drinks. The atmosphere was very cosy and the service very professional and warm. The Wiener schnitzel, the wine, and the beers were delicious. Highly recommended.

Very nice she-receptionist - helpred with german menu, and customized salad for potatoes on my request.

Ordered a Cordone-Blue smth - got a huge steak-like piece of meat stuffed with Itallian cheese. It seems twas delivered by the cheff!

+ Nice Pumpkin Soup + cola + tonic = 35 euros. (Paid 11.5 for mdc) - this is a very good quality+service+cost. Highly recommend.
