A must visit place in Vienna. Traditional charm coupled with superb quality of food. One must come very hungry as portions are very generous.

Excellent experience and very unique food choices. Austrian cuisine so I recommend the bone marrow soup, bone marrow on toast, and the boiled steak. Do not forget the creamer spinach. Very tasty and hearty portions. Service was impeccable.

We ordered the famous tafelspitz and share this between two people. The soup tastes so good and I love the sliced pancake combo. You’ll also get fried potatoes and some sauces as sides. Definitely worth coming when you visit the palace.

We didn't know Tafelspitz could taste SO good until we've been to Plachutta. The restaurant has its own farm and the beef was out of this world! We had the Tafelspitz and the Schulterscherzel. I liked the Schulterscherzel more. Everything was just perfect. The tenderness of the meat, the taste, the presentation (and how practical the metal plate was there to keep the copper potted soup warm). Staff was friendly and atmosphere was good. Great vibes. We were amazed by the many famous people who have visited Plachutta too. The cook book was also quite interesting. All in all a very plesant evening.

What to say about the best Austrian restaurant, that it's just the best. Look at their wall of fame, look who visited them. Taste schnitzels, livers, tafelspitz (must-eat), pancakes etc.

My first time to come to Vienna and my first good Schnitzel I ever had. The atmosphere of the restaurant is classic and clean. They prepared their food seriously. The appetizer bread is also quite comforting after a long trip from Prague.

One of the best restaurants in Vienna. Authentic superb delucious food. Authentic space with retro but "Royal" look.. They have special meal which they serv for many years, the favorite meal of Franc Joseph.. All recommendations..

This was my Vienna highlight, amazing food a bit expensive but worth it. It was strange that we were the only tourists in the place ... such a local restaurant. A must visit when you are in Vienna.
