Inn Reinthaler

Family owned place. Nice food and service. Two people were in front of us but went to the wrong table (a four people table which we were taken to later) instead of a two people table near the entrance. They misunderstood and wrote a bad review. We feel sorry for the restaurant who was trying to handle many people because of a large conference nearby and did a fantastic job and great service to all. Our food was excellent and super quick too.

We looked for a place for dinner at the last minute and had no booking. Place was packed and they made a plan to seat us. Food was excellent, well presented and tasty. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place. My wife and I showed up without reservations and the folks here found a way to get us in. The food was delicious. Everything was well made, hot, fresh, and flavorful. All served up by very friendly people. They even humored me as I tried to speak German with them. Great job!

For an authentic Austrian culinary experience, that's the place to be! The food is exceptional, and the staff are nice.

The best place to eat around Prater. Good prices and large dishes with superb quality. We had courdon bleu, roasted beef with onion and potatoes and dumplings with cheese and onions.

We walked in without reservation on 25th December, which was so wonderful as we were afraid to be on a restaurant-crisis on holiday. The food turned out to be so good and it was much more affordable than we could think of. Recommend!!!

After a quick rest back at the hotel, we grabbed an Uber and took it north to the Vienna fairgrounds so we could ride on the famous Reisenrad, Vienna's Ferris wheel. I was freaking out a bit because I hate heights but I chilled out enough to enjoy the view. My acrophobia worked up my appetite so it was time to eat at this local joint, Inn Reinthaler, we found among a residential neighborhood. That is where I had some friggin' delicious Goulash, liver dumping soup, and a ham and cheese stuffed wiener schnitzel. If Goulash always tastes like this then I'm a lifelong fan.

The food was tasty, very large portions, reasonably priced and good service. Was able to be seated without a reservation although it was busy.

They did seat us, but a reservation would be the way to go. Luckily it wasn't busy when we showed up with a group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The food was amazing by all accounts of our group. The picture is of the Zanderfilet.

Amazing food! Full of locals which is always a great indicator of the quality. We are not from Austria and were a bit confused when we walked in and asked for a table, one of the waiters just pointed to a table and said to sit there. If you experience this, don’t let it get to you, it’s just their culture. This was a few minutes from our hotel so it was a great option. We got there a few minutes after 18:00 and it got full very quickly so, plan for that. We had the Schnitzel and it was delicious, best salad I’ve ever had(it came with a side of salad and potatoes).

Very good food for reasonable price. I would definitely recommend the beef stew and cordon blue. The portions are very big.

Schnitzel is very tasty and juicy. It's good that I ordered a small portion, because a large portion of schnitzel is just a giant plate for 2 for me. A very pleasant and tasty place, everything is “home-made” But you need to take into account that there are a lot of people and your food is cooked from 30 minutes, but it was very tasty and hot. Worth my wait 🤤

Friendly service with hearty servings. Great taste. Waiter was attentive and helpful. Would recommend this restaurant for food and drink.

Place is typical Austrian and you will not be let down. Be sure to have a translator on your phone as their English is less than minimal. Portions are reasonable and highly recommend the spaetzel with cheese and onion. The farmers plate with roast beef, beer sauerkraut, a little sausage, ham and the famous big ball of stuffing they call a dumpling. Beer is good but you must try the lemon beer it’s awesome.
