Fantastic Clock Museum ⏰! The watch collection is simply amazing, spanning a variety of eras and styles, from antiquity to modern times.

I recommend this museum to all connoisseurs of watchmaking and history. Here you can enjoy an amazing collection and plunge into the unique world of watches. This is one of the best museums I have visited in Vienna! 🌟

This “small” museum of timekeeping devices spans 3 floors arranged by historic periods and types of clocks.

Even if you think you are not really interested, you may still be amazed by several of the pieces on display, and with an entrance fee of only 8 EUR you really should give it a try!

Note that many of the items have a QR code posted, if you scan it you get to see a short video of that item actually operating.

(It also has lockboxes at the entrance, restrooms, and the full price when we went was only 8 EUR.)

I love clocks and watches so it was probably always going to get top marks from me. Some of the staff can be a bit... how do I put this politely... quirky.

As a watch enthusiast, I must recommend this. The museum has a lot of amazing watches dating from 17-18th century until present times.
It is a must while in Vienna? No.
But if you are passionate about them or have some spare time, I recommend you pay a visit.
Also, entrance is free on the first Sunday of the month.

3 floors of learning and amazement about clocks. Truly unique. Even more interesting than I thought. Different theme from other museums I've visited so far so definitely welcomed. It deserves a visit

Great museum with lots of unique time pieces from the last few centuries. It was really cool to see, definitely recommend if in the area. It's not too large, so perfect if you have an hour.

This is a wonderful pocket watch / clock museum. If you are fascinated by time and artistic clocks this is the place for you. It’s a truly wonderful place - spread it over many floors. Is worth a visit!

In the heart of the old town, not far from Graben street and St. Peter's Cathedral, an interesting museum. The original clock from the tower of St. Stephen's Cathedral. A lot of information is not annoying. It is possible with children. The ticket for an adult costs 7 €, for children under 19 years old admission is free. A separate story about the building of the museum. There is a booklet with a description for a fee. There is an oriental clock (another principle of time) and very expensive watches. Worth seeing. I recommend.

Beautiful clocks starting from the 13th century to 19th century. They have all kinds of weird to unique clocks. Unfortunately, not alot of visitors go there. When I went I was the only one.

Cool place to see lots of old clocks. There is text on the walls describing the history of clocks which I found interesting. Fairly cheap.

A small, three floor museum, but packed with clocks, horologes, mini-clocks and even clocked paintings!
Absolutely beautiful collection.

A very quiet and inspirational museum. This was a hidden gem in Vienna. I had 0 expectations going in and was positively surprised to see a very interesting and different collection of watches and clocks. For someone who likes clocks, history or simply sketching, this is a great place to be.

I visited this museum on sunday, so it's a free entry. They shows many kind of clock from early age until the modern one. There are four floor, and each floor shows different categories of clock. We can access each floor using stairs, but the stairs is quite narrow.

Surprisingly nice little museum tucked away on a quiet Vienna street. Lots of interesting clocks from old bell tower mechanisms to intricate mechanical masterpieces to weird Japanese pieces that use a subtly different way of measuring time. Everything has good English and German labels.

Good collection of clocks and watches from all periods. Interesting astronomical and regulator clocks, one with a Reifler escapement though unfortunately the movement was not visible. Well worth the visit.
