It was almost full of people around 6pm, but they accepted us to have a dinner until 7, it's so helpful!!

A little unassuming from the outside but wow! The guys inside were hustling!

It was a busy Sunday evening, so we had to wait for a table but only a couple of minutes. Fantastic staff, very well managed and great food. The atmosphere was very relaxed, all totally enjoyable.
I ask only one thing, why is it so hard to find a restaurant in the UK that matches this experience?

Our local friend took us here as one of our first meals in Vienna. He said this is a Viennese staple where his parents used to come here when they were in their teens. Our waiter was polite and helpful when we were ordering. They spoke very good English and had English menus available. This a great option for some traditional Viennese dishes. My husband and I ordered from their specials menu that included dishes made from wild garlics which native to the area and only available during the spring time. They had large portion sizes and everyone in our party left with happy tummies and excited to take on the day. The restaurant is conveniently located across the street from the metro station so it’s easy to get to simply with public transportation.

Good options for all. Tasty. Service friendly and prompt.

We ate here twice during our trip to Vienna last week. The schnitzel on the first night was excellent, the Hansy Breau beer was very clean and crisp and the staff were professional and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we returned on our last day. The Goulash was fantastic. We ate in a number of other places but the food here was by far the best.

Great place for a quick lunch or dinner. Restaurant is very close to West Banhof and Prater. Staff is kind and very helpfull. Meal was absolutely great.

Great place! If you are looking for traditional cousine from Wien, this is the right place for you! Good meat and also many options for vegetarians. Quality is very good and price is affordable. Don't miss it!

Amazing place! Really tasty food. Love it!

I had dinner at the Gasthaus Hansy with my colleagues this evening. It has a good food. My colleagues tried schnitzel and I ate veal backed liver with onion. Food was tasty and restaurant was clean and tidy with a lot of customers. This is 100 year restaurant and they are running it with same spirit and tradition. Try it prices are average too thus I rates it 4.5 stars

Very authentic Viennese cuisine. It was extremely tasty and we were very satisfied after our meal. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and spoke good English. The vibe was cheerful and the prices were reasonable for the large portion sizes. Wiener schnitzel was the best I've ever had and the potato salad paired wonderfully. Located in a great part of Vienna with Prater nearby.

The place is really amazing, central and the food quality is very high.

I like how the place is decorated and the old style from chairs.
Make sure to have a reservation because most of time the place is very busy.

Highly recommend the Wienerschnitzel big portion and perfect taste .

Dropped in as we were staying nearby . Restaurant was full but the host kindly made a space for our group . Food was excellent and portion sizes generous . This a very good simple gausthaus and we can highly recommend.

Delicious Viennese cuisine with good service. Apart from the classic dishes they also have seasonal dishes. The portions are well sized and the ingredients fresh.

Ate here as recommended by Anna the tour guide. Ordered the traditional Wien Schnitzel and I ate it all. I don’t usually like potatoes but the potato salad was delicious. It has a bit of sweet taste unless you don’t like sweet taste in your savoury food then the salad won’t be for you.

Great restaurant in Vienna we stopped there for dinner. We ordered the goulash one small one large and believe me it was large and tasted so good. They have a great cook there. Atmosphere was nice outdoor patio situated in a nice corner on the street. Restaurant was clean and the service is very good if in Vienna, I would recommend stopping here.
