U3 Supermarkt

Huge props to everyone who works here. The shelves are always efficiently stocked compared to how small the shop is, and the workers are always quick and diligent even when its stressful

We were looking for a grocery store which is still open on Christmas and fortunately the U3 Supermarkt was one of the least shops which was open until late evening, but it was super packed.

As a spoiled American used to living within walking distance from 24/7 grocery stores, this place has been a life saver. Honestly, I'd probably give it a five star review even if it kinda sucked, just because of how important it is that it exists and does what it needs to do. Quality of food and service has always been fine though.

Love the energy of the guy at the cashier.. he so funny and full of positivity! As well,… good variety of foods. Maybe not for a first class dinner, but for necessities. Especially on weekends when other shops are closed.

Five stars only for open hours.

First of all - I have never seen this store closed. Second - its amazing. They have a weird mix of stuff - mostly import snacks and drinks but also some staple food. Also do not go there if you are claustrophobic!!!

Super clutch market in the subway station. Very helpful that their hours are open later than the Billa’s in the area.

Nice market within the metro station, this particular station looks like mini mall, there is everything you need, seems spotless clean and feels safe unlike spots like this in other capitals in EU

Easy to access, open on Sundays (not normal) aaaaaannnndddd has excellent treats from around the world. Lots and lots of options, never out of stock, great fix when you need Sweets and you're from outside Austria. They also have some fruits and drinks ;)

You deserve a 5. You are not the most set up supermarket from Vienna but : You have open till 0.00 daily, You got super cool American products....You are reachable by many public transportation...5⭐⭐⭐

I have never seen such a fast cashier before. Especially recommendable if you don‘t have a lot of time to reach your train.

The U3 is a smallish shop catering mainly to those not able to shop between 8 am and 8 pm. The shop is pricey, to be expected at a major railway station. Being one of the few shops in Vienna which is open after-hours, Sunday and holidays, the late evening crowd is usually stocking up on alcoholic beverages. If it's past 10:00 pm and you positively can't wait for tequila shots, you'll find salt, limes and variety of tequila here... you'll even get coffee, bread, butter and eggs for the morning after – the aspirin you'll need to shop for elsewhere. Regrettably, it's usually quite crowded, social distance isn't observed, though masks are again required by law, so you'll see most people wearing them. As a supermarket, it wouldn't deserve 5 stars, but it does for what it's intended to be.

A savior in need! It was the only place in Vienna I could find sanitary pads on Sunday. Great selection of other stuff too, if you only have a weekend in Vienna you learn to appreciate stores that work on Sundays. :)

It is a very great place. They have lots of drinks, foods and toys! You can call it an 3-in-1 place.

Great place to get sweets and softdrinks from the USA. Also, they have very long opening hours for Austrian standards and you never have to wait long for checking out.

Perfect store for a late grocery shopping, one of the few stores in Vienna opened after 20:00. Prices are not even that higher than in a regular store.

Hidden in the underground at the U3 station. I believe you can enter without a metro ticket. Found Twinkies in this supermarket 😁. Prices are decent, it also has some souvenirs.

It's an ok supermarket, the open times in austria are always something to comain about, but only some supermarkets have extra hours. This one does. And keep in mind that if it's sunday, the closing times are different
