no matter if you are here for a glass of mint tea in a pot or mouth watering food, or just a peaceful read of Viennese and not only newspapers, you are always welcome. Tasteful place, welcoming people. Food is always fresh and delicious priced reasonably. I never book but can be crowded.

Excellent food made with love. Delicious, well presented. The falafel is a must have! Check out their innovative cocktails too.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Cafe Nil. We were expecting the restaurant to be more Egyptian because of the name, but realised the menu was a mix of Middle Eastern inspired dishes.

We ordered the Lamb Kofte, Moussaka and Stuffed Vine leaves. As my partner is from the Middle East, he was sceptical about the vine leaves being delicious. However he agreed they were very well made along with the lamb kofte.

However the real star was the moussaka. The moussaka dish was the best we’d ever had, it was full of flavour and it shouldn’t be overlooked. The portions are generous so we shared everything but couldn’t finish it all.

The staff were friendly and efficient, although they were not attentive and didn’t ask how our food was. We were in food heaven so had no complaints. Luckily we had cash as we didn’t realise the restaurant was cash only. It felt a little uncomfortable handing the cash over and waiting there whilst the server counted out the change next to us.

Overall, we’d go back and recommend others try it.

Visiting Vienna from the USA and stumbled upon Cafe NIL. What a treasure! Decor was simple, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The service was delightful but best of all, the food was spectacular. The owner shared that the recipes were his mother's! Six of us dined at Cafe NIL, each meal was wonderful. My order of grape leaves was the best I have EVER had. This restaurant is surely one of the reasons I will return to Vienna. Thank you Cafe NIL for sharing shelter from a rainy day!

Nice drinks, amazing food. The service is a bit slow and there are too many tables, which makes the place feel pretty packed.

Absolutely amazing food, soooo good!! Lemony, salty, and very flavourful. We’re definitely going to be coming here again. I especially recommend ordering the Baba Ganoush, Bio-Rind Shawarma, and the Chicken Salad.

Finally made it there...the new owners did a great job. Food is very authentic and delicious and the service was great.

A nice restaurant where you can find food from both Mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine. We stopped for some beers and french fries. They put some parsleys on french fries which was nice. Employees are really friendly and kind.

Favourite place in Vienna! Try the cocktails - they are very creative and incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is friendly, vibrant and has a lovely mix of people coming it. Café Nil is perfect for every occasion: meet friends, family, dinner, lunch, drinks. The Café Nil team put love in every detail.

Expensive, but the food is sooooo delicious!! Anything on the menu is freshly made and homemade! Best hummus and baba ghanoush I've ever had! Staff is friendly and caring. The amount of food per dish is not big, so you may have to order some starters or even a second main dish. I'll definitely go again! Amazing food

You need to try the vegetarian "marokkanischen Zigarren"! Tasted incredibly good and I enjoyed every bite of it and asked myself why I've never tasted sthg like this before. Excellent! Also the hummus clearly tasted better than supermarket hummus, which I am used to They also have separated toilet cabins and clean toilets.

This place is more than a restaurant It is a food healing place i can say.The food makes you smile, gives you goose pimples because it is just soo scrumptious, with recipes from [Mama] , you can only leave Cafe Nil looking forward to coming back and probably paying more than you're charged.
