Wien Museum Hermesvilla

Beautiful historic villa in lovely big park.
Great for a half- day trip with a restaurant/cafe. Outdoor and indoor seating available so great for all weather conditions.
Museum only open until 1st of November.

Hermesvilla is a really beautiful place. Very peaceful and pleasant environment. The complex is surrounded by big forest. Gardens around the villa are nicely decorated with beautiful flowers, different colors, and all kinds of roses and other bushes cut in different shapes. On both sides of the villa, you can see a few sculptures and fountains as well. From the villa, you can use different paths for walking through the forest. In the forest, it is also possible to see wild animals. All recommendations.

After a short walk through the woods, the villa appears almost like a magical fairytale castle. We rested in the shade of old trees, had our drinks and continued walking though the forest. It is suitable for families, singles, old and young folks.

Very nice place to visit all year round. I haven’t been inside Villa but I have seen some weddings happening there. There is a cafe restaurant with beautiful terrace behind the Villa. You could spend all day roaming through park and forests around.

Didn't go inside, but outside is very pretty. "Instagramic" - if you like taking photos with lot of view here you can have them.
Also, it inside huge park - lot of space to walk around, and enjoy the nature.

Beautiful villa surrounded by nature, it wasn’t crowded because we visitee it on weekday. If you want to go inside of villa (museum), the entry fee is 8€.

nice villa, nice park

not a big museum, but good enough

Located on the outskirts of Vienna, Hermesvilla was one of Sisi's residences. It's beautiful on the outside and amazing inside. It is surrounded by a huge park, which is more like a forest. We had an amazing time here. The parkings outside the park are free, so is the entry into the park. The fee for Hermesvilla entry was 7 euro.

Magic Castle of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Sisi. You have to walk through a Park for 15 minutes from Lainzer Tor (Bus Stop 55A). Inside the Castle you will find an exhibition about the Life of Empress Sisi. A nice Café in front of the Castle. You can do long walks inside the Park and watching for deers, rabbits and more animals.

A beautiful palace surrounded by beautiful nature. A peaceful time travel to the time of Sissi. :)

Beautiful villa located in the enormous Tanzier park

Worth a visit when out for a hike

Romantic, quiet place in the forest with a nice walk. There is also a nice walk from the villa to hill with restaurant, views and children's playground. Good for families.

A truly beautiful place,where nature brings peace and relaxation. Amazing especially in late spring/ early summer,when roses fill the atmosphere with their precious scent.

It was a nice place to visit outside Vienna. Lots of nice paintings and different objects inside. The architecture looks amazing and I really liked that inside it was a lot of light unlike other places. I was lucky enough to be there on the first Sunday of the month so I didn't have to pay the entry ticket. It was worth the trip.

Absolutely magical place with lovely staff.

Wonderful nature, good architecture. In one of the rooms there is 2 mirrors when standing between them and look at them you can see infinity reflection. Before to go there its good to be familiar with the Elizabeth Sisi.
