Lovely place, the atmosphere in both the inner yard and inside is very nice! The food is excellent! We‘ve had the Backhandel salat, the ribs and the fish, everything was deliciously prepared and in good portions! Definitely a multi-visit one 👌🏽

Very nice place, not a tourist spot in a good sense, delicious food, friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Tip: it is better to have a reservation, we were lucky to get a table. Also, they don't have a menu in English, but the waiter was very helpful.

I think I just had the best steak of my life. Turned up alone with no reservation. All the normal tables were taken but they let me sit inside as I did not mind . Staff were really friendly. The chef said the rib eye was the best and he was right . Watching the staff in the kitchen it was clear they enjoy there work and are very good at it . Very clean and a bargain. The best steak ever and 2 beers and a tip came to 30 euros . Eat here you will love it . English biker rob :)

What a great place! It is called a restaurant and has a bit of a poshy look on the website but it is a brilliant beisl with everything that this word includes: great food in very fair prices, relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, and lots of good wine with or without sparkling water in it. Definitely recommend and definitely book your table beforehand. Staff is friendly and efficient with a good sense of humour.

Easily one of the best meals that me and my companion had in our trip to not only Vienna, but Europe. Lovely and creative food (really tasty and tongue-blowing as well), cosy atmosphere, some really nice, gentle, and helping staff (they're able to speak English, if anyone's worried about that), and well, quite simply... A wonderful experience going there.

Incredibly friendly staff, took the time to sit and talk through the menu with us as they could see we were struggling with the German! Fantastic food at a very reasonable price, would highly recommend!
