We loooooved it here. Food is just amazing, all the dishes were very good. The team (I cannot use any other word here) is super friendly and helpful. The place itself feels like it is a country house, nothing fancy, but cozy, the garden is very nice.

Excellent fine dining gasthaus. Recommend it for an affordable fine dining experience (55-60€ for a five course menu)

The concept is great: each course is comprised of two medium sized dishes so you don't have to choose what to try, you get everything that's on the menu.

This review is purely for the employee I spoke to on the phone today. We had reservations but my husband managed to get us on the wrong train…putting us an hour out of the city and me into full panic. We ended up completely missing our reservation. The man I spoke to was extremely kind and I really appreciated it. I hope we get to come back and actually eat at the restaurant.

Cute little restaurant a little bit outside of the city buzz. Young staff, who are very knowledgeable and approachable. You have the choice of 2 menus, regular and vegetarian. Check the website for the exact dishes and make sure to make a reservation. (confirm vegetarian menu if necessary) Perfect in the summer in their outside garden or for a romantic dinner with your loved ones. Pricing is good.

Surprising place in a very traditional and casual atmosphere which provides a interesting contrast to the overwhelming experience of the amazing food served by the owners and their very friendly and attentive team. Courses come in very good and appropriate sizes and are based on modernized versions of very classic Austrian dishes which are very creatively improved. Secret highlight in Vienna to me.

Was there yesterday celebrating the birthday of my best firiend! Very nice friendly staff and nice food selection! They helped make the evening very special! Look forward to go again hopefully soon!

Wir haben anlässlich unserer Hochzeit ein fünfgängiges Degustationsmenü mit Weinbegleitung geschenkt bekommen und waren begeistert von dem gemütlichen Ambiente, dem aufmerksamen, kompetenten Service und der ausgezeichneten Qualität der Speisen. Es gibt die Wahl zwischen einem vegetarischen und einem klassischen Menü mit Fleisch und Fischgängen und die Mengen sind sehr bekömmlich, sodass man sich am Ende nicht völlig angegesssen fühlt. Natürlich sind die Preise relativ hoch, aber für solch einen besonderen Rahmen und für die gebotene Qualität halte ich sie für angemessen!

Freyenstein, Thimiggasse 11, 1180 Wien, Reservierungsanfrage wurde sehr charmant abgewickelt, wirklich herzlicher Empfang im Restaurant, einen feinen Tisch im schattigen Gastgarten bekommen, hochwertige Möbel, alles sehr stimmig.

Exzellente Küche mit wirklich guten Grundprodukten, die mit Freude auf den Tisch gebracht, jeder einzelne Gang war ein Highlight! Herausragend war auch die Weinkarte, viele österreichisch Winzer. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Preis- Leistung sehr gut, sehr Gerne wieder 😊

Zum ersten Mal im Zuge der Sommergenusswoche hier gewesen. Von der Strasse her sehr unscheinbar. Jedoch drinnen sehr gediegen. Aber das wahre Location-Highlight ist der idyllisch-romantische Gastgarten im Innenhof. Wir hatten Glück, es war ein lauer Sommerabend und haben hier eine wunderbare Zeit verbracht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Speisen waren alle ausgezeichnet. Das Konzept mit jeweils 2 Speisen pro Gang war sehr interessant und hat uns gefallen. Zusammengefasst, ein wunderschöner, gelungener Abend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
