The best schnitzel in Vienna. Fast and good service, great meal and local atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting👍

Fried beef and potato soup were tasty. I really love the ambience.

We found it by luck wondering around.We hadn't made any reservation but the found us a table at the spot! We had pork schnitzel, boneless schnitzel chicken and veal minced either potato salad in cooked differently. All delicious all very fresh cooked. Authentic atmosphere, did not seem touristic, rather an old restaurant.Definitely recommended to try it. It is located on a nice road with a lot bars and restaurants .

Hidden gem, well, after reading the reviews, perhaps it’s not so hidden.

We were able to somehow manage to get in without a wait and had the most crunchy flavorful, and delicious schnitzel in all of Vienna.

The lines out of the restaurants were probably about two hours long.

I did not take a picture of the schnitzel because we were so hungry, we devoured it before I remembered to take a picture.

if you see this place and don’t see a line do not be scared. It’s just as good as every other place where you see a line at The service was great. We were greeted pleasantly, and not rushed.

Maybe a bit expensive but what we can say, schnitzel was perfect one of the best of Viena and the Schweinebraten very good too, the waiter was always looking to us and was very kind.

We had to sneak in to this restaurant since we did not have a reservation. But it was absolutely well worth it. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. I had the vegetarian eiernockerl (a type of gnocchi with fried eggs) and my wife had the roast pork, both were excellent.
And the service was fantastic, with Bea taking excellent care of us, even with the extremely busy place.
Definitely get a reservation and go enjoy some typical Austrian food.

The staff were very nice and seated our party of 3 even without a reservation. The food was great and the service was friendly and very good. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Tafelspitz and baked zander were really good. The baked vegetables that came with the zander were the highlights - best roasted vegetables I've ever had so far. Being in central Vienna, the food was a little pricier but that's expected. The labels on their door said they accept card payment, but oddly they only allowed cash for our meal. Overall food was awesome and service was a little off.

We stumbled onto this place our first night in Vienna looking to try an authentic Wiener schnitzel. We were able to sit outside in the garten. The restaurant was very busy and they accommodated us without a reservation. We had the soup, beef tarttar, chicken schnitzel and the apple strudel. The schnitzel was crisp and generous and the parsley potatoes were so tender and buttery.. (I was dreaming about it the next day!) Service was proficient and generally well paced. WC was not as fresh as I would have liked, but had proper supplies.

Great place for traditional Austrian food. Very busy, but staff is still very friendly and attentive.

Small friendly Vienna Style restaurant serving delicious staples such as Wiener Schnitzel. Lunch was relaxed with no need to rush your meal.

A special place to me; one with a true local spirit. I recommend literally everything included on the menu, you can try the meatballs, schnitzel, and the pancakes!

Food was really good, especially there side potato salad with home made sauce! And the staff were very friendly and attentive even when it was very busy.

Great spot! Lovely breeze through the open windows and smokers are in the outdoor area across the lane. The Pike was great as was the pork cordon bleu. These gasthaus places have much better portions and are less expensive than the nearby cafes.
