English Cinema Haydn

What a fantastic little theater for anyone wanting/needing English-language movies. I fully understand that Vienna does not need to offer this, but it's such an awesome option for visitors/immigrants/language learners, etc. We went to an afternoon showing of Wonka and the theater was almost empty, bought tickets 4 minutes before showtime. Heads up: as with all movie theaters everywhere nowadays, the concessions were expensive 🍿🥤. Still, 10/10 recommend!

I only have had the best movie experiences here. Rocky Horror picture Show is so fun and I attend most Halloweens. Recently watched FNAF there, and again the crowd was really great and engaged. The staff is cool and the interior is too. Would definitely recommend you check this place out and support independent cinemas :)

It’s a solid English cinema, that can both support 2D and 3D Films. I do not know of any fancy screening technology in use. They offer sweet and salty popcorn as well as nachos and other snacks. Only Pepsi. It’s small but cute.

In to catch a little cinema action in English. The facility was clean from entryway throughout lobby and into theater. Interaction with several employees was courteous and informative. Snacks were fresh tasting.

10/10 movie experience! If you’re new with German or just a visitor, you don’t have reason to stay away from cinema joy! Just choose any movie in English and enjoy your visit. Attention: this is a sustainable place. Don’t forget to bring your own drink bottle to catch the discount.

Great english cinema in the city of Vienna. Great popcorn and great nachos.
Films selection is actual and great. Staff is friendly and really helpful trying to help with any issues you have. The owner is regularly in the kino itself helping. The events are a must visit if you ask me.

Charming Cinema Experience at Haydn Cinema

Nestled right next to the Neubaugasse U3 station, Haydn Cinema offers a quaint yet delightful movie-going experience in the heart of Vienna. I recently had the pleasure of watching a Japanese OV film from Studio Ghibli here, and it was absolutely fantastic.

Haydn Cinema's repertoire often includes unique films that may not make it to larger theaters, making it a haven for cinema enthusiasts seeking something different. The cleanliness and convenient location, easily accessible by public transport, add to its charm.

Be aware that it can get busy at times, especially when buying tickets or popcorn. It's wise to arrive a bit earlier and be patient; the staff is always doing their best to assist.

I highly recommend visiting Haydn Cinema, and taking the opportunity to explore the surrounding area before or after your movie. The neighborhood is bustling with various dining options and interesting sights, ensuring a complete and enjoyable outing.

5 stars for the quality of the screening & sounds and for the unique and friendly mood in the cinema! But! The seats are a little small, at least for a long film like Openheimer, sorry 🤗

I was several times on this cinema.
Is very well located, original English-speaking movies without dubbing in German wich I find it excellent otherwise the movie lost the magic.
Popcorn small bag cost 4.70€ wich is ok and is enough for watching a film for 2 hours.
I will complain just for these people wich arrive late and pass in front of the screen. Hayden Cinema should respect the audience wich arrive on time and re organize for other time or day to these people that came late, they should not let them came in at all. You get distract it and lose the focus.

One of my favorite cinemas in Vienna. The movies are in English and the workers are nice.

very lovely place. watched Captain Marvel in 3D and the quakity was nice. when you are going to exit, there is a small 'museum' of this cinema. (on photos)

Very lovely English cinema. Sometimes movies comes late. Nice interior. Go on Mondays and Tuesdays. Weekends expensive.

Lovely little theatre. You can pay by card to buy your tickets but cash only at the food kiosk. Popcorn sweet or salty, nachos (the salsa sauce is amazing) drinks.

Superb little cinema with friendly staff and cost atmosphere.
I was visiting purposely to watch a particular movie in English and it did not disappointed me. Had that traditional cinema night out feeling like in olden days.
I will definitely visit again in the future while my stay in Vienna.

Large screens that make it worth leaving home. Convenient location with good transportation and access.

Cozy place to watch your favorite movies in English. The idea with sing- alongs (movies where you can sing during the showing) is amazing and I hope more cinemas will apropriate it.
Only nitpick: movies could be a bump louder.
