Cinema on the roof

The movie place is great even though there are no seats in the middle right in front of the screen, except for the way back where it’s very far ways from the screen anyways. The place offers some snacks like popcorns, manner waffles, etc. The staff speaks good English and is very accommodating. They also give out blankets if you get cold.

The staff ere really patient with me even though I don't speak German. They gave clear instructions and were very friendly.

There were a mini bar on the rooftop where you can buy drinks. You can also buy popcorn or ice-cream with the staff.

The view was extraordinary. Chill place, great atmosphere, interesting movie selection. Couldn't like the experience more. Definitely had a great time!

Great Views but must be there very early to get a good seat. Good selection of movies and the bar on top is great

Great outdoors cinema, film quality and sound were perfect and had no issues despite being outside. We queued a bit before tickets started to sell and glad we did as the tickets eventually sold out and it meant we got good seats.

Cinema with a view! On the roof up high on top of the U6 Stadthalle there is a summer cinema showing a wide array of movies, from Hollywood blockbusters, to all time favourites, flavoured with a generous scoop of foreign movies. Watch out, they are all original version with German subtitles ( or originally in German without subtitles). There is a bar next to the screen where you can enjoy drinks n music before/after. You can bring your own drinks to the show

Comfy atmosphere, rooftop cinema had popcorn, blankets and the movie was great!

It's very moody and a cool place watch a good movie. The film's aren't new one's, but the mostly display classics or movies that got good feedback.

Very pleasant place to watch a movie under the sky or drink something with friends

Tolle Atmosphäre! Die mega-vielen Stufen sind zwar eine kleine Herausforderung (vor allem bei Hitze 😉) - aber die ist es Wert!

Im Sommer ein muss Besuch!! Nette Location. Sehr gute und vor allem vielfältige Filmauswahl. Fairer Preis.

Wenn die Vorstellung wetterbedingt nicht ausfällt gibt es in Wien kaum eine atmosphärischere Art einen Film zu schauen, wirklich chillige Dachterrasse mit atemberaubender Aussicht, Bar und snacks/Restaurant.

Filme in Originalfassung unter den Sternen anschauen, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Schöner Blick über Wien.
Bild- und Tonqualität gut.
Wenn ein besonders interessanter Film läuft( jeden Abend ein anderer!), sollte man die Karten im Voraus kaufen.
Teilweise Gartenliegen als Sitzplätze.
Zwar wird der Publikumsbereich direkt vor der Leinwand von der Überdachung des Atriums der Hauptbibliothek geteilt, die (leicht schräge) Sicht auf die Leinwand ist aber von den zentralen Sitzplätzen ausreichend. 5 Sterne wegen des Ambientes.
