Restaurant Galaxie

After talking to locals and couple uber drivers we were directed to this place to eat. Both uber drivers told us to call ahead as it's busy season and reservations are most likely needed. We called and we're told that they were booked but we could come and wait if that worked for us. So we did. Showed up at the door, gentleman greeted us and said, sorry, if you could wait I ll see what I can do. We were standing outside for about 45min, people were coming and going as we were told. Same gentleman comes out and called our name to come in, we walked in. At first glance, there was a display fridge with all sorts of meats that could be prepared to your likings. Waiter came and we looked at the menu and some of us asked for suggestions others just ordered whatever they thought they would like. All 7 of us were extremely happy with food choices we made and ordered sweets after that. We liked everything about this restaurant as we went there 3 times in the row 3 days were there. I would absolutely recommend anyone to go eat there if you are fan of Balkan cuisine. That same gentleman that called us in later introduced himself as an owner as he made sure we were happy with the service entire time we were there.

This is a Bosnian restaurant and I'm originally from there. The food is very good. Cevapi are really close to Sarajevo's one. If you look for the closest thing for Bosnian kitchen in Vienna this is the place!.

The best cevapi in Vienna! Fresh, tasty and authentic. We live in Ireland and we heard about this restaurant from a friend so we had to take the opportunity to eat there while staying in Vienna. And boy, they didn't disappoint!!! If you want to try traditional Balkan food in Vienna, Galaxie restaurant is a place to eat!!!

I have never eaten better cevapcici with kajmak in a restaurant. And the banana cake was amazing as well. Mind that, if you do not have a reservation, you might wait for a while for the food. Second time i ordered half an houre before and the food was ready!good job staff! :)

My favorite combo: Small Cevapcici in Kajmak and Sarma (cabbage rolls).
It's clearly not a healthy dinner but be honest: that's not why you go get Balkan food.

A perfect place with good taste to have a dinner!

Delicious food, good service and atmosphere. I tried creek salad, steak, kebab and two types of desert. All were good. The staff here do not speak English.

It really looks like a balkan restaurant 😊 But the food and the service are extremly good !!!

One of the best Balkan Grills in Vienna. You will immediately notice because there are a lot of people with Albanian and Kosovo background there.

What a such great experience I had at this establishment.
Even we had no reservation booked up and on top of that,this place was extremely busy that particular day,management of this place made sure that we are taken care of.I want to take this opportunity and thank Munir,Kenan and Zoran for an excellent service,professionalism and patience.
On our next trip over to Austria,we will make sure that we stop by this place.

Amazing Chevapchichi!! The best iv had outside of Bosnia. Perfect meat, bread and curd butter. Already planning my next trip to this restaurant!

The Cevapcici was superb. The grilled lamb together with the sour cream sauce was delicious. I came upon a strong recommendation from my Croatian friend, and I thank him for introducing me to a new world of good Yugoslavian food.
