We had our Christmas eve dinner at the restaurant without having a reservation. The staff kindly found a table for us with a warm welcome! The food was great and the atmosphere of the place amazing! The portions were satisfying and the dishes well presented! All the waiters were polite and friendly with a great vibe and a warm smile! We even got a bottle of wine as a farewell gift! Thank you guys you made our Christmas eve dinner unforgetable!!!!

This is a gem! Randomly found on Google Maps without any expectations, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Customer service was excellent; the staff was so friendly and efficient but not rushed. The atmosphere was nice and wholesome, it was cozy and lively. As for the food - oh dear, that was great. The steak tartare was melting in the mouth, and the condiments it was served with complemented it so well. Also, it was very nice that the staff divided a portion into two making it convenient for sharing. The roast goose breast was very good as well, served with amazingly tasty cabbage and a very rich gravy that just went together so well. Not to mention, all the dishes were plated so carefully. An amazing place!

Quite hidden place in some part out of the main centre, I went there cause i read the reviews and I noticed that everyone was perfect. Well, I am happy to confirm this judgement. We arrived without reservation, anyway they welcomed us and gave us a table for one hour. The menu wasn't so large and there weren't so many types of dishes. We tried 3 different ones and everything i tasted was excellent. This restaurant has refined culinary skills to deliver flawless service to his guests with excellent value for money. The informal atmosphere due to relaxing music and soft lights helped to appreciate the place more. Unfortunately I can show just one photo cause I didn't give the time to take a picture of all the dishes cause I ate the courses immediately. Extremely recommended. It's compulsory to reserve

Had a wonderful time at Sixta with the best Hazelnut schnapps courtesy of the restaurant. We did not have a reservation yet the host gave us a table and helped find a proper parking spot near the restaurant. Extremely warm service and great food. Highly recommend. Do try the pumpkin soup with apple foam.

The atmosphere is perfect and friendly. On every detail. Service is amazing, and it makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed 😌. And the food..... you get way more than what you are expecting. Highly recommendable! Plus, pet friendly. A diamond in Vienna!

This was one of the dinner experience l have ever had. It was easy to reach restaurant location(5 minutes walking after metro). Staff was very friendly and professional. We tried a starter with mushroom and it was amazing, we hardly stopped ourselves to order more and more. As main dish we tried famous Wiener schnitzel, it was 10/10. Vegetarian risotto was also very delicious. I recommend this restaurant to everybody without any doubt.

My wife and I saw the recommendation for this place online and decided to book it for our vacation.
It was a pleasant surprise. Definitely the best place we had dinner at on our vacation!
We took the spicy tuna, garlic soup, ravioli, salmon and for desert Apple strudel.
Every single dish was delicious!!!
The place itself is well maintained, the service was the best we had during our staying and the location of the restaurant is great!

Such a warm and inviting restaurant with delicious food! Tonight is our last in Vienna and we wanted to enjoy local food. What a wonderful treat to be away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas of Vienna! I mentioned my friend’s birthday and they honored him with a round of hazelnut schnapps and a beautiful sparkler. The ambiance, the food and the service were all perfect! I hope to return to Vienna someday and I’ll be back to Sixta for sure. ❤❤❤

Beautiful ambient, excellent food and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as lovely as possible. I would highly recommend this place.

I spotted this place on a Sunday evening. Despite not having booked, I was quickly offered a table near the bar. The staff were friendly and attentive, and recommended wine according to preference and menu pairing.

I started with beetroot mousse & goat cheese. This was fabulous. The beetroot texture was superb, while the goat cheese set off the pspperiness of the wine almost violently - each sip was a big ol' punch in the mouth of massive (but not overwhelming) flavour.

I followed this up with rindsuppe mit greißknödel - beef soup with a semolina dumpling. The soup was light, delicate and delicious. Clearly the chef has spent a good deal of time perfecting this dish, because the dumpling had a texture that I can only describe as "perfect". A one-weapon fight, the spoon sliced the dumpling like it was air, yet it kept together in a way I wouldn't have thought possible.

The main dish was wild boar, and this too was very good, coated with the richest sauce.

All in, I don't think I can recommend this place enough. A four course meal with wine pairings set me back €75, and for the quality of the food, service and wine, that's absolutely fantastic value.

Amazing dining experience at Sixta located in the hip Margareten neighborhood in the 5th district.

We were greeted warmly by the host/owner/manager Zeljko (Jacob) and seated right away. As he said, best table in the house. The service was impeccable. Our server was so nice and Zeljko gave us
shots of Hazelnut and Apricot Schnapps on the house. I will def return when go back to Vienna.

We feasted on:
✨Beef Tartare - delicious
✨Tuna Tartare - well balanced and really good
✨ Roast beef with fried onions - an Austrian dish. The sauce was divine. So good.
✨ Lamb chops - wow
✨ Prawns over asparagus linguini - the pawns, the sauce! Oh my.
✨ Apple strudel with an pistachio ice cream. Yum!

The entire dinner was amazing! If you’re ever in Vienna, book this resto.
