Probably the friendliest service we had in Vienna (but the bar was low 😂). Didn’t book but squeezed us in before another sitting as we were there just before 6. Had the soup with dumplings, it’s a traditional very brothy soup. You can also have it with the pancake strips or meat. Also had the wiener to bulk it out a bit which I wasn’t a fan of but that’s because I don’t like the traditional hotdogs (forgot that was the default!). The veal schnitzel was absolutely huge and my friend loved her roast beef. Shame they didn’t have any dark beer on draft but still a good spot for traditional Viennese food!

We tried to eat in this restaurant the day after our arrived at neighborhood Neubau in Vienna and had no success, restaurant full and time for waiting was long, so we tried the next day and was fantastic . The most traditional plate is so delicious and worth the come back to try.

Wiener schnitzel is the one of the best you can get in Vienna! Strongly recommend to visit if somebody looks for trying authentic Austrian cuisine.

Price getting expensive therefore not as often I can go there.

I just arrived in Vienna, and I tried the most popular food, Wiener Schitzel, very tasty and fresh. I loved it. Totally recommend

The staff was friendly and made room for us without a reservation (usually I think there is a reservation required during busy hours).
We got the "Kalbsschnitzel" which was really delicious and a big portion.
I don't remember if there were English menus but I think the stadd will help you if you have any questions!

Top notch schnitzel. Ok, it's now 25 euros for a veal schnitzel but you get a top quality and delicious schnitzel. The rustic atmosphere of the guesthouse is in keeping with Viennese Gasthaus/Wirtshaus tradition. Well worth a visit and be sure to make a reservation!

Great neighborhood place for vienesse veal schnitzel, sausages, fried chicken etc, especially with potatoe field salads, and beer of course. Don't miss this place, you will not regret it. Friendly people, fast service. Thumbs up !

I am simply a visiting American and knew I wanted to try Wiener Schnitzel. This place was a recommendation of our host and it was delicious. I went in between lunch and dinner time and was easily able to get a table and enjoy a meal. Service was quick and courteous and spoke much better English than I speak German.

Very good traditional venise place with classic austrian dishes. Reservation is required. We were 5 people, each one had a different dish and everything was perfect. They serve both venise schnitzel and tapfellshpitz. The creamy goulash was also excellent. But if the food was good, the deserts were even better! We tried plum dumplings (extraordinary), apple shtroodel (very good one) and excellent kaiser shmaren.

Very nice and typical austrian food. They have so many nice dishes on the menu that it's hard to choose. We went twice and we were always very nicely received.

The food was amazing and the service very polite and helpful. They suggest a kind of goulash which was outstanding and the apple strudel to die for.
Well done guys, if I come to Vienna again I will definitely pay a visit.

Nearby our hotel, the Max brown hotel, was this neat and good restaurant. We had a Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad, a lot to eat. We also shared a dessert. It was very good, the beer was excellent and the staff quite friendly. 🍻👍🍺

Fantastic restaurant near to the Vienna city center. You can find tipical Viennese dishes, as I try Viennese Gulasch and Wiener Schnitzel... Both amazing. Prices lower than the average in Vienna. Super advised

My favorite schnitzel in Vienna. Excellent potato salad (lots of good acid). Gorgeous mid-century decor and furnishings. Hip but in that tasty way. I visit Vienna about once a year and try to go to Schilling every time. Highest recommend.

A very pleasant place, with authentic decoration, the food is great, and big portions too, and there were a little surprise to us: our waiter came from Hungary, so we had a little chat with him. All the waiters was very nice with us, we recommend this place!

Food was tasty, waiter was very friendly; he was apparently the only server but he was working hard to make sure everyone got service. Also could communicate in several different languages. Pork schnitzel was nice, pizza was tasty, beer was good, prices pretty reasonable for Vienna.

Such a nice experience to say bye to Vienna. Easy to order, they have the classics of the Vienna cuisine. Staff is friendly, helpful

Such an authentic restaurant with amazing food and amazing service. Surprisingly enough, we also had the best Hugo Spritz in Vienna there :) This place gives local vibes judging by most of the other persons that were having dinner there while we visited.

Really good traditional Austrian/Viennese food. Everything is delicious, try the Veal Goulash, plus one of the soups as a starter. You won't be disappointed.
Be sure to have a reservation if you want to eat there during lunch or dinner time.
