Vienna Wiesenthal Institute for Holocaust Studies (VWI)

Very insightful and introspective museum visit... Few museums had left me with thoughts and questioning human nature for so long.
My parents and I had a guided tour with Sandro, he was an extraordinary host who explained with so much eloquence and kindness the stories behind this small museum in size but massive in knowledge.
If you are in Vienna this should be a must in your museums visits, a guided tour can be great idea to visit this memorable place...

Great man... Good little exhibition

After several delays I'm very happy that the Vienna Wiesenthal Institute finally opened his doors at Rabensteig for the public. The projects was personally initiated by Simon Wiesenthal (1908-2005) and aimed to contribute to the academia, researchers, and the wider public with his archives. The old building was perfectly restaurated and is having also a cozy coffee and snack area on the groud floor.

Have looked forward to seeing this place since I saw the film Odessa file. It was a great experience and very informative and a tribute to Simon Wiesenthal!

Never forget or diminish the horrors of WWII perpetrated on the Jewish people
