Arezu - modern persian cuisine

The food was absolutely outstanding and delicious, the drinks a delight! If you want to try out something extraordinary - modern Persian, yet with a pinch of Vienna - you should try out this place. Plus, the service was excellent and very attentive, with Mr. Afshin taking very good care of us. High recommendation!

It's a cozy restaurant with open-air tables and since the A/C wasn't working inside, we prefered to eat outside.
The staff were speaking German and Persian(but not English) and you need to call for reservation.
The food quality was good but unfortunately they didn't serve doogh(yoghurt drink) and Tahchin when I tried to order :(
You can also enjoy Persian backlava with black tea there.

The food was delicious, the waiter was amazing and the ambiente awesome. I will definitely come back and also have some celebrations there. The waiter speaks btw. perfect english and has a cute sense of humor!

We also got a free taste of green olives with pomegranates, a unique flavour or this amazing land and people.

We went here in connection with the Wiener Restaurantwoche that the local authorities have initiated to help get the economy going again. It has given us the chance to check out places we've never been before - and Arezu was definitely worth a visit.
The drawback for me personally is that we were obliged to opt for a menu with three courses, and normally a starter is all I can manage (in this case the starter was hummus with flat-bread - excellent), so by the time I was half-way through the main course (Lammspieß) I was so stuffed I wanted to lie on the floor rather than sit upright. The very sweet and funny server admonished me for not finishing my meal and then suggested he give us a break before bringing the dessert (ice-cream between wafers).

Next time (there will definitely be one) we shall not opt for a full menu - at least I shall not. In fact, I might skip the main course and just have the starter and dessert, just like I used to do as a kid!

I have to say that I have good standarda and safran rice I ate already better one but it was really delicious

After some years of being away from Iran, I have finally had some good Persian food. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are good. The staff are also very warm and welcoming.

I couldn’t recommend this place any more, it’s amazing! It’s my second time in Vienna in a month and made sure to keep coming back. Incredibly sweet and warm staff. Order the Koobideh, thank me later :)

Amazing Iranian food in Vienna! Tasty, nice decoration & atmosphere with a very good service.

Booked at short notice, on Google review recommendations this was a good choice. The staff were charming and low key, the menu was excellent in range. We chose from the barbecue. The food was served with Persian style rice and moist well cooked meats off the skewer. The taste and presentation were excellent. The restaurant atmosphere was relaxed and without loud music, a feature which ruins so many otherwise good restaurants. We have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone seeking a reasonably priced meal in a relaxed environment.

Best Persian place in Vienna at the moment in my opinion! Delicious, well portioned food with gorgeous presentation, friendly staff and modern cosy space. It is absolutely recommended!!

They not only gave the most fresh and delicious food but their hospitality was also excellent. It was my husband’s birthday and i asked them for a candle and cake they not only organized that but put happy birthday music in background. Moreover, during our time there they specially paid pakistani songs for us after finding out we are from Pakistan. I must day they had excellent service and made us feel so special.

We had an amazing experience

This was a special and spontaneous evening, we started outside and the waiter Afshin recommended a wonderful appetizer of dips from eggplant and okra with freshly made flatbread. Lamb is a specialty of the restaurant, and everything was delicious. Saffron ice cream sandwiches was an end to a great evening. We ended up inside due to the weather. Definitely will be visiting again!

I've been to this restaurant couple of times and I was happy with the food and service every single time! I decided to also celebrate my Bday there this weekend. I honestly have to say I couldn't be any happier with the staff and their service and the food was great as always even though it was many of us there and they had to serve the food to all of us at the same time! The management is great, the staff are really nice and friendly and the food is always yummy. They really exceeded our expectations!
