It was the most well-made Japanese food I have had in Europe.

The restaurant is very clean and the interior has a very nice Japanese taste.

The menu allows you to enjoy courses based on the number of items on the menu.

The Japanese soup stock is well prepared, allowing you to experience the gentle taste of Japan.

Many Japanese staff members are available, so you can order in Japanese.

This place is in a classy residential area One of finest dining experiences of my life. The young lady at the restaurant spoke at least 5 languages which was very helpful to the multi ethnic patrons including ourselves. This was not like the other mundane sushi roll, nigiri etc experience. Every course had its own cornucopia of flavors. Even the the rice was a class of its own. Cozy place and a friendly environment. Will recommend very strongly.

Very nice restaurant with Authentic Japanese food. We enjoyed the Autumn Kaiseki Course Menu. Every dish was delicious!! It’s quite difficult to find good Japanese food in Vienna so I’m really happy that I found this place. Looking forward to trying the other things on the menu.

The food was truly outstanding and the service really customer-orientated. It is probably one of the best Sushi’s outside Japan.

Extended dinner, we have chosen a six course meal and were pampered with amazing food in a relaxed, quiet and chilled atmosphere it is a great experience that lets you forget every day trouble and teleports you to Japan. Order a sake "Begleitung". You will thank me later.

The food was delicious, special point for the dessert (it was a cake with pistachio, absolutely great). And the different sake is something you need to try.

Currently the best Japanese restaurant in Austria. If you want to enjoy genuine, authentic Japanese cuisine, Sakai is the place! The service is also amazing.

Among the best and most authentic Japanese sushi restaurants in Vienna. A little on the pricy side but the drinks are surprisingly good with decent sake, a proper Austrian wine selection a good amount of Japanese shoju, sawa and Japanese soft drink options. Service is good and knowing Japanese helps but is by no means required. I would recommend reservations especially for their sushi brunch, as Sundays are almost always packed.

A nice Japanese restaurant. Ideal for a special romantic dinner, although I had lunch with my baby once, and the stuff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food is varied, not the typical stuff you find in most places. Highly recommendable!

Best Japanese restaurant in Vienna!

Although I try to keep my yearly consumption of sea fish as little as possible for obvious reasons I simply couldn´t resist an booked a table for my birthday there. We were a group of 9, parents, kids, a family. We were given a extra room in the back of the restaurant which was surprisingly silent. We went there on Sunday which means Sushi Buffet plus some hot meals. The eel, the tuna and especially the Udon soup were stellar.

A small gem in the City. worth a visit! open on Sunday evening.

Perhaps the most authentic Japanese restaurant in Vienna. High quality food, exclusive atmosphere and very friendly personnel. Somewhat on the expensive side but well worth the money.
