Nice cinema with good selection which tends to avoid the usual blockbuster movies. All screenings are in the original language. They also organise Baby Kino every second Tuesday morning for families with babies under 1 year old.

Nice, traditional movie theater. Movies are usually shown with subtitles rather than dubbed. Tickets can be paid cash or with card, but the bar accepts cash only.

One of Vienna's finest independent movie theaters. They regular host festivals too. Good atmospher with good coffee at a nice bar.

Great indie cinema that also shows movies outside Hollywood productions.( Mostly in original version with subtitles). The waiting area is very comfortable and reminds of a café

I like the atmosphere! There's a cosy place to to eat something and to buy something. We watched a very interesting documentary #female pleasure.

Cinema in Vienna
The traditional, cassic votive cinema has been a hotspot for Vienna‘s movie enthusiasts since the 80‘s and aims to cover the entire spectrum of international art film. Special features include, amongst others „film and wine“, the „movie breakfast“ and the „baby cinema“ and have enjoyed steady popularity for many years. The program puts a particular emphasis on the Jewish Film Festival, the Festival du film francophone, the International Children‘s Film Festival and Nuovo Cinema Italia.

One of the few cinemas in Vienna which show OmU (Original mit Untertitel) movies. Which is the best way to experience a foreign language movie in my opinion.
