A nice clean beach to visit. Entry is free, but looks like the beach chairs are 80,000 dong to rent. Has a safe swimming area with buoys to indicate where to swim. I imagine in busier times of the year people are present and selling snacks.

Clean beach...we went in the afternoon it was super empty then...only 4-5 people were there...and then again we went at night after dinner...that time too there were only 3-4 people...

Its the most quite beach in the entire island i guess.

If u like a nice and quite beach this one is good one to go...and if u want more waves and touristy beaches...cat co beach 2 and 3 are for you.

Really liked this beach as it's in a beautiful setting and quite spacious, therefore not too overcrowded! The sand is soft, so you won't hurt your feet when walking into the water. The water is not as clear as at the other beaches and it's also not the cleanest beach I've ever seen but I think it's still okay.

You can rent sun beds there and there's also one or two restaurants selling beverages and some food. You can easily spend the day here and chill, and the ambience during sunset is usually really nice.

Walking distance from central Cat Ba Town is around 15 minutes. Definitely recommended!! 🏖👍

This was my favourite beach on Cat Ba. Located about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes on scooter from the main town just down a slip road off the main road.
Quieter than the other beaches here with lovely soft sand and a nice wide beach. Good for swimming and safe for kids too. Sunbeds and umbrellas available and a nice small open air restaurant serving nice food and drinks. There are bathrooms available also. A good spot to chill in the day and watch the sunset at night.

Rented four nights in a tent with my girlfriend... Absolutely great 🤗 👍 because the service is as overpowered and overwhelming:) I recommend 'egg bread' and 'pan cakes' + ginger tea for breakfast - they really know how to do that and are so friendly ^^ their bus coats 250 k VND and will pick you up at the main street which is about 200 metres away from the beach =D I'd like to stay longer:)

The thing I loved about this beach is that even if you spend hours there, you will meet just a few people. The beaches are not crowded because everyone aims for the cruises which me and my friend totally avoided. We spent a lot of time there - chilling.

It is a good place to be. Definitely recommended.

Very calm and nice beach. We were there basically all day and there was barely any people! Despite being warm with clear skies. Definitely recommended if you want to get away from the touristy beaches

The last refuge of tranquility in Cat Ba. Fair prices and a fantastic staff. Don't pay more than 20,000 for a bike out here. The perfect blend between not too far away and far away enough.

Probably the easiest beach to visit on Cat Ba island, clean, laid back and relaxed. Tubes to float on in the water and you can rent a chair to sunbathe. Lovely!

Nice, clean, local beach. No rubbish when we where there. It's too bad that the bar wasn't really up and running, maybe because it was October.

It look like a private beach but it is a public for all the people. This place is really quiet and beautiful. It's fit for relax and swimming.
