Good service. Nice view and clean room. Full and clean facility. Friendly staffs. Good buffet selection.
Building deco give feeling of being part nature due to the incorporation of vegetation both inside and outside. I will come back again.
Mr Chi is in security area is friendly and helpful.

I came to know this place from a circle of friends and I had the amazing Rachel from the beginning helping to make my booking decision 10 times easier. She provided helpful information and honest tips to enhance my visit and time spent with my family here.
Love the view from my room - really captured the essence of the holiday. I had delicious food, fresh tropical drinks, lots of nice Vietnamese coffee and tons of activities to do within the resorts and also around the island. There were festive Tet decorations all around the hotel during my stay (feb 24) and everyone was just so happy and friendly.

The beach is right on the ground floor - very convenient and all public places (restaurants, bars, suspended bridge, viewing platform…) have great poetic views over the sea and mountain. It only takes 5 mins car ride or 20 mins walk down to the city centre, there are straight forward routes to local attractions and quick access to public transport link to mainland.
Generally, I had a great stay here and would recommend booking.

Reflecting on our recent three-day stay at the Flamingo Cat Ba, From the moment we walked through the doors, we were warmly welcomed, and that level of hospitality continued throughout our stay. One standout aspect of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Quang at the reception desk. He truly went the extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.Our room was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, providing a cozy retreat after our daily adventures. Breakfast is quite diverse, but for vegetarians there are not too many choices. There is also a play area for children and sea sports activities. In general, if you need to find a hotel to relax that meets the criteria of eating, sleeping, resting, and having fun, you can add Flamingo to your choice.

Amazing location, the most incredible views, great new facilities and very friendly staff. We spent the whole afternoon relaxing at the spa and trying the different warm pools, sauna, steam room and ending the day with a beer at the roof top. Totally recommended!

I can really recommend this hotel, it is everything you imagined and a bit more. The room is spacious and has everything you need. And the ocean view from the room is amazing. A lot of food choices for breakfast and dinner from the buffet. The beach is good and the swimming pool surrounding the hotel is fun. A nice kids zone, good for all ages, is also a big plus. One minus point is the elevators, there are 6 elevators, but because they don't work together very well, you stop a lot and wait a lot for the elevators.

The resort is very beautiful and green. The beach is very clean, the food is delicious and delicious.. the room is 5-star clean... The staff here are very enthusiastic and professional, especially Ha who welcomed us with our luggage when we arrived and supported us when we left. Very pleased! See you again Hà Bell

I used to hesitate to choose this place at first since it took 4-5 hours to arrive at the Resorts but I have to say it was worth it.

This is the perfect place to get away from the bustle of city life. Everything was great, the amazing front desk staff was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door, especially Ms. Uyen. She was very helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. I will come back for sure

First time coming here, i was impressed by the breathtaking lobby and the relaxing scent in this hotel. The staffs are so nice and supportive, especially Mr. Quang, the room is beautiful with wonderful view. I highly recommended others come here enjoying a drink, chilling at the beach and looking at the spectacular dawn.

Great customer service for a decent price ! Wonderful location, beach view can be seen straight from the room’s balcony. Hà “ Bell” is really nice and friendly. Would highly recommend! Will definitely stay at Flamingo again the next time we go to Cát Bà!

I would like to give a sincere compliment to the extremely, energetic and enthusiastic hotel staff who supported me a lot during the past 4 days of work. Simply beautiful rooms, very very clean, amazing views and lovely breakfast. The gym was very clean and the pool was warm and inviting. Mr Quang comes from front desk was very helpful and proactive, overall he provided the icing on the cake of a fantastic stay. I will definitely stay here if I come to Cat Ba again

Highly recommended! It's a beautiful and wonderful hotel. Our room is spacious with an amazing view from the balcony. The hotel has a big outdoor swimming pool and indoor swimming pool. The breakfast and dinner buffet are rich and delicious, a lot of Vietnamese cuisines. There's a trail nearby, it's also very beautiful as well. This is the only hotel with the most amount of plants that I've ever seen, so 💚. It feels like you can enjoy the forest and the sea there. However, there are still rooms for improvement:
+ The beach is quite clean, but not clean enough for such a beautiful hotel. During our 4 nights there, we only saw the staff cleaning up the beach one time with big pieces of trash, they didn't clean up the small trash at all (as you can see in the last photo).
+ Room cleaning service: one day they were very late, we came back to our room after swimming at 11:30 am and expected to see a clean room with clean towels and new water bottles. We had to call the reception to arrange it or else we had no idea when the room would be cleaned.
+ Noise in the evening: There are many people/families with children who are not considerate of others, they talk very loudly and even scream in the hall which you can hear clearly inside your room. You probably can tolerate it during the day but not after 9 pm. So I suggest the hotel to have a policy which tells the guests to talk quietly in the hall after 9pm.
+ Lan Ha restaurant: we went there 3 times and asked for well cooked (soft) veggies for our toddler but every time they gave us veggies which were certainly too hard for a toddler to eat. The dish "Fish sauce glazed pork belly" with big pieces of pork belly were too big and hard to eat for people without strong teeth. "Vietnamese braised fish" was too salty and the fish was a bit dry too.

You cannot do better in Cat Ba than this hotel. The views are fantastic, you can view the sunrise from your balcony. Staff are very friendly and kindly above all Mr Quang who helped me a lot. The location is convenient-secluded but only 15 min easy walk to town. Breakfast has excellent choice and very good quality. Don't miss the chance to see a beautiful scenery near by hotel.

The room has great view. I booked both Deluxe mountain view and Premium Deluxe bay view. Obvious the bay view has a better view but the bathroom has the bath tub not the shower room. The mountain view has a lovely bathroom with great moutain view but no bath tub and the toilet is in the same area with the shower. After someone takes a shower, the toilet is wet all over. One great thing is the hotel has many thing to do: indoor and outdoor swimming pool, onsen, sauna, spa, karaoke, very big kid club, free pool table. It is great for family.

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The facilities are excellent. Right on the beach. We also used the indoor pool and onsen spa. Both were fantastic.
Karaoke rooms were great. Close to Cat Ba town.
Mr Chien at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. He helped organise our transport and excursions.

This is an amazing luxurious place to stay for the view, great service! The staff from receptionist to the driver... All have extremely good attitudes and are the same as everyone else. Special thanks to Quang for being so enthusiastic and thoughtful, We gonna return with family one day soon.

We stayed in Flamigo Cat Ba for 2 days to celebrating our honeymoon. It was a memorable experience overall including the stay , property facilities , food and especially the hotel staffs . There are lots of staffs who are very helpful, friendly and their service was top notch! The staff are absolutely lovely,It is impossible not to mention Quang who took care of and supported us throughout our vacation . We opted for an all inclusive package and did not regret it, given we didn’t have to worry about the cost of individual drinks or meals. Room cleaning service was amazing. Overall great holiday experience at Flamingo Cat Ba

We had a beatiful king bed room with huge beds and amazing view over the sea. The bath tub was massive and the shower too. The beach was pretty and the staff were all really nice. We had a delicious meal at the Sun Restaurant. There are a lot of swimming pools, Esp pools for children. My kid loves them. Thanks to Mr Quang helped us here, he really took care of out family and gave us good tips on places to go . We gonna be back soon.

Amazing views of the sunrise. Great location. Stunning beach. Beautiful architecture. Many pools. Generous breakfast buffet. Great service. All was clean and spotless. Great attention to detail. Will be staying there again. We had an ocean facing corner suite - highly recommended.
