Catba Island Resort & Spa

Among all my hotel stays, I would rate this right at the top. The view, the room, the friendly staff, the food, the ammeties, the location at that price point, it scores high on all aspects. You will definetly cherish your stay here. You can walk to a lot of tourist destinations from here. The market is also just a 10 min walk. Suggestions during your stay, choose the ocean side view, you don’t want to miss on that. Take the day long ha long bay tour which includes the village and jungle tour. Definetly have a a meal lunch or dinner in the in house resturant.

Located right by the pier but slightly uphill, which is not an issue. This place is quiet and has a beautiful view of the beach. The rooms and services are great and I will definitely recommend. The general manager, Mr. Luo, is actually Taiwanese and super friendly/passionate. He helped point out all the pints of interest, and even helped us order local seafood restaurant!

We have just finished our stay here ,and although it was still under construction it was fabulous , the staff and location were excellent , everything was still open for us to use , a pool and the spa if we wanted it , we got a free upgrade to a beautil room and the staff couldn't have been any more helpful , this place will be amazing once completed , thank you to you all for making our stay wonderful 👍😊

Amazing place at the southern tip of cat ba island, with excellent view of South China Sea. It’s mesmerising to get a sea facing room and u will not get bored with the picture perfect view. They have two pools with one of the pools having water slides. Small spa with sauna + steam. Outstanding front office staff - happy to go outside the box and help you with your requirements. Most of the staff speak basic English. Food was amazing and I would recommend this place for all the international visitors.

2nd time here after 10 years away. Highly recommended for seasoned travellers.
There are good beach just right outside the resort though it is crowded because it is also open to the public.
There are 2 swimming pools and a few wonderful water slides.
The housekeeping dept can't really speak much English which its expected in Vietnam.
The location is superb.
There is a walkway around the hills to another beach.
The restaurant is quite efficient but the food is just so so.
There are mountain view and pool view.
Tne mini balcony is useful for hanging ny clothes abd chatting with beautiful neighbours.

Really great beaches on the east side of the island. Excellent place to top up your tan, and shaded from mid afternoon if you want to play on the beach but not risk getting burnt. The electric bus service is ideal for those weary at the end of the day wanting to get back to their hotel.

Fantastic resort, more then friendly staff, excellent management! And perfect in every detail. Ocean view sight is amazing, as is listening to the waves of the ocean late at night

Amazing place to spend the holiday in Catba the staff is very kind. They can speak English. The place is a clean and amazing. I highly recommend it

One of the best resorts i have been to!

Great service, great scenery, good location! It was a drag coming to cat back as it can only be accessed by landed transport. However, the view and experience was very wonderful.

Really nice place with good facilities. Breakfast was fine. Would be more than happy to stay again 👍

Good place, be aware if you want to be alone with your love. Is a familiar place. Have a big water slide!
