Quân Cát Bà

This place was the best restaurant in Cat Ba. Fresh seafood, they get it out and weigh right in front of you. Really fast service and the food was hot and tastes good. We went there for dinner 2 out of three nights.

We had the fried mantis shrimp with lemon sauce twice in one day because it was so tasty. The first time it was served (lunch) was much easier to eat, maybe because they were very busy in the evening. The sauce was delicious. We also ordered a squid and pineapple dish with lunch and fried rice with dinner. All very good.

When we arrived in town we tried to eat here in the late afternoon (3pm? and late evening (after 930) and it seems like most places on the road don't serve at those times, just so you know!

Wonderful delicious sea food! Everything is super fresh and the sauce is delicious! Our favorite: lemon garlic 👌👌 highly recommended, for us the best restaurant in town. And all that for an affordable price. Squid, shrimp and fish for 150k, crab 180k and a big portion of clams for 80k

Just amazing!!! One of the best fish I had so far in my life! If you are looking for a fresh and really good grilled or fried fish with a local touch, this is your place. Highly recommended

This place is a must in Cat Ba. We had the fish with lemon/garlic, clams with tomato/onion, lemon/garlic squid and rice. It was delicious and so fresh. Highly recommend!

Some of the best seafood we had while in Ha Long / Cat Bà! We ordered the Oysters and Geoduck, as well as a Fried Noodle and Spring Rolls. Everything was delicious and well seasoned!

Seafood was fresh, regardless of the cooking type!

Ordered the grilled squid and springrolls. Price was on the higher side, but it is worth it for a first try!

The best food we had until our visit to Vietnam.
The seafood is really good and tasty. We had squid, clams, they both come with ric, french fries (sorry but I will always eat clams with fries, childhood thing) and spring rolls and everything was really really good. We were sad that was our last day otherwise we will come back next day to try other food.

There are a nice place to try tasty and fresh food. Fried rice with crab, shrimp and eggs it’s a really great option 😍
Also the oyster 🦪 very fresh and delicious 🤤

Amazing food! We had steamed clams, fish cakes, steamed fish and noodles with veggies, everything was delicious!

Wonderful place to eat in Cat Ba. I’ve been here twice during my 3 days on the island. The fish is really fresh and tasty, the staff is really nice. Squid with lemon sauce is wonderful.

Generous serving sizes at reasonable prices and incredibly fresh seafood! We got the shrimp hot pot, fish cake in sweet and sour sauce, and stir fry morning glory. Service was very quick and the food tasted delicious. The restaurant fills up pretty quickly, we were one of the first parties around ~5:30 but the entire place was full within the hour.

We liked this low key, reasonably priced restaurant in Cat Ba. Only here for a few days but went back again before we left. First time round we had a second portion of the seafood spring rolls. Enjoyed the spinach with garlic and the seafood. Second time went for the large grilled fish with lemon. Came in foil, lots of fish, easy to eat - bones but no head. Service was prompt and straightforward, no push to review.

Really good food! Highly recommend the big fish with lemon sauce, great for two to share. The fried wintermelon and grilled oysters also surpassed expectations. Overall one of our best meals in Cat Ba!

One of the best meals I ate in Vietnam. The seafood was so fresh and everything tasted amazing! The mantis shrimp and the oysters were particularly tasty!

Awesome dinner. We were a big group and had shrimps, grilled fish, oysters, clams the whole deal. Very flavourful sauces! Service was also kind and fast.

Delicious. Been here two nights and both were fab.
First night was crab - tasty but hard to deconstruct - would avoid unless you know how to deshell it!
Second night fish - 11/10, simply perfection for a fantastic price. Fresh as it gets.

Best fish I have had in south east Asia. Very good couldn’t recommend high enough we went two nights in a row for supper.
