Ended up for all our evening meals here😉😁. Big portions, nicely cooked if Western or Asian food, good value. Happy hour on beer & cocktails.

Staff is very friendly, responsive and helpful. Most of them speak English very well so communication is easy.

Nice outdoor area, inside turns into a party place after a certain hour, showing sports 🥰

We would return anytime when back in Cat Ba😎

Absolutely fabulous. We chanced upon this bar/restaurant on Christmas Eve and the entire experience was perfect. We were a long way from home and feeling a little bit sad about missing out on the Christmas experience. That was until we walked into the Oasis Bar. The staff made it a special evening, and the Christmas menu was amazing. The mango/pomegranate salad was one of the best salads I have had in my life, anywhere. The seafood platter was awesome. The french fries were perfect. The choux pastry was one of the best I have ever eaten. Half price cocktails and beer. Say no more. And winning a hug from Santa was the icing on the cake. I know it was a stressful evening for the staff. But you were amazing. Merry Christmas.

What an exceptional place!
We tried (few times) some drinks, dinner and also starters - everything was good and really tasty. Staff helpful, smiling, taking care of guests.
Sometimes, when it's very busy, you have to wait longer for food, but... It's nice to kill this time with their drinks, always on promotion 😊

Highly recommended for dinner or lunch. Excellent food for unexpected low price. Chicken mango salad was fantastic. Great atmosphere and gets busy in the later hours.

Amazing vibes at the Oasis. They have house music on from 11 pm till 2 am. Best place to hang out at Cat Ba. The staff is amazing with such a positive attitude. Wishing good things to the Oasis. Keep at it team!

We arrived at Cat Ba Island late in the afternoon with an empty stomach. It's great with the stir-fried pork with chili at the restaurant. We sat down to eat and watch the beautiful sunset. Worthwhile food.!

Great food, very nice and extremely friendly staff, good happy hour deals all with a view of the ocean! :) The free pool table is a plus! We kept going back for dinner and lunch every day during our stay on Cat Ba! Highly recommended if you are looking for nice vibes and super friendly service for a decent price.

Food were standard and friendly for foreigners who are weak about spice.
Therefore here have lot of foreign visitors and services provided in English.
Service was quite polite and nice. We enjoyed happy hour even though we arrived when only have 5 minutes to be end.

Hands down the best place for dinner (we actually didn’t try the breakfast). Super good food. Must have the Oysters !!!! Drinks are also very good and affordable. Atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed and the service super. Looking at the other (rather empty) restaurants around us - even the Vietnamese tourists agree :)

Pizza was ok - not the best, but ok. Prawn stirfry was amazing - HUGE! Beware - if you don’t know - these are supposed to be shared haha. Great prices and a good vibe!

If you want a consistent and pleasant experience on Cat Ba, this is the place to go. The food is always amazing, and the drinks are great. The service is typical of the island, that is to say, abysmal by any standard. Expect to be here for at least an hour and the wait staff to ignore you. However, this is one of the best restaurants I’d not the BEST we tried that serves Weatern style food.

A great service, delicious food and cheap beer! We ate here every evening we stayed Cat Ba! I highly recommend chiken spring rolls.

A lot of other travellers so it’s nice to just chill there. In the evening they start playing music louder and the party starts🍻

Excellent prices & delicious food & drinks. We went for traditional Vietnamese food & it didn’t disappoint. Happy hour beers are 10k VND & food is very cheap. Great atmosphere, very busy & polite staff. Also great place to watch the World Cup (they put a screen up). Would come again!

Oasis bar was a pleasure to visit! We went more than once because of the vibe, the menu, the location and the wonderful owner and manager Billy! A warm and welcoming venue, the food and beverage are well priced and wonderful atmosphere !

We are here for dinner twice while in Cat Ba and enjoyed it both times. The food quality was good on the variety of meals we tried and the cocktails were also done if the best we had in Vietnam. The prices were also reasonable given this is a high tourist area. Staff were always very friendly as well.

This is a great little place on the seafront in Cat Ba town. The staff are so friendly with a welcoming smile. The food is really tasty as well. It’s a great atmosphere! We have been in several times during our visit and never been disappointed.
