Outstanding cocktails 💥
We tried their signature cocktails and it was a blast! The Pho cocktail is super cool to watch to when the bartender makes it and the taste is unique, one of the best cocktail I had in my life. The Tofu cocktail and Popcorn cocktail were also very good and the presentations are really nice, definitively a high end cocktail experience.

We ordered the clam soup, prawns curry and grilled fish with lemongrass and chili.

They were amazing in taste. Would have preferred a slightly more curry/gravy.

They ask if the food is good and if anything needs to be changed, which is a great practice.

Nam taught us how to make a spring roll (with grilled fish, lettuce, cucumber, carrot, pineapple, noodles and basil). Special thanks to him.

perfect place for a dinner and some drinks. Nam and Jake go above and beyond to keep you happy. and they speak good English too, so there is no problem with communication

PS: grilled fish with lemongrass is to die for. definitely give it a try

We've been here for dinner and coffee - both times we wouldn't be disappointed. The Vietnamese food and also the coffee and cake were very tasty. If you like cocktails, you can watch a special way of preparing them here :) Personally, I can highly recommend the popcorn cocktail.

Very good food and great cocktails. We came here twice during our stay! We were so happy to find good Vietnamese food after being disappointed by some westernized Restaurants. Highly recommend de Pho cocktail 🌱

A culinary delight.
My girlfriend and I here two times during our stay in cat ba.
The first time we had the table BBQ which was pretty good.
For the second time we had the Quiri steamed fish with vegetables. And this was absolutely phenomenal. The fish comes in a pan which gets heated on the table. You also get stuff for rolling your own summer rolls. The sauce for the fish doubles as a dipping sauce and is the perfect mix of spicy and savoury.
Jake and the rest of the team also did their best that we felt welcome here 😊

Today was our 10th day in Vietnam and this was one of the most best meals we’ve had so far! I love the fish with lemongrass, served with rice, rice noodles, rice paper wrap, and lots of veggies & herbs. The fish bones are big so easy for me to remove.

The dessert was also memorable. We ordered a coconut green bean smoothie thing and it was so delicious! Not too sweet but so flavorful, and you can ask for the cream to be on the side.

Loved the vibes too. Cool young and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We had 2 cocktails and the Beef Pho hotpot... so good! Everyone must have the Pho cocktail, it's amazing!! I would choose that over any other alcohol drink ever!
Also the guy who served us was great and very chatty, he examined dhow the hotpot worked as we were novices

We ate here twice during our stay in Cat Ba island and we really enjoyed it. Wide selection of traditional vietnamese meals as well as international options. Jake and the rest of the service were great in advising us.

Amazing food a must try during your stay in cat ba. Best in cat ba, the other places i tried serves mediocre food in comparison to this. I tried the shrimp burger, old town fried spring roll, and beef curry. Curry was on point, spicy and creamy with potatoes that are not overcooked and have some textures. The burger has a different interesting twist, starting with sweet potatoes fries instead of normal potatoes, using a wheat bread instead of other common ones. All in all, just come here and have a meal, you wont regret it. Btw, happy hour is till 7pm

140 for buger, 100 for curry and 80 for spring rolls

Great Vietnamese food, especially the pineapple fried fish! And awesome music and service. Nam in particular was super friendly and helpful!

Best restaurant in Cát Bà!
The food was outstanding and i highly recommend the beef hot pot. The meat quality was very good and we enjoyed eating very much.

Hidden gem on the other side of the bay at the center of town. Waitstaff was welcoming and so kind. Food came fast and was SO tasty. I had the curry (highly recommend) one of the best Ive had in Vietnam. Also, the sweet potato fries were good too! Must try in Cat Ba :)

This is easily the best spot in Cat Ba for cocktails. The owner has extensive knowledge about cocktails, and has some extremely creative drinks on the menu, and also creating new cocktail each week to have on the menu. During my time in Vietnam, this was the only place my friends and I visited a second time.

The food is excellent as well, well balanced and well seasoned.

If I ever have the chance to visit Cat Ba again, I will be returning!

I have eaten many different hot pot over Asia and Europa in the last few years. But this one was probably the best one of them hands down.
The meat and seafood combination was perfect, but the best and most important part of the hot pot is the soup. It was sweet, savory and just full of flavor. We ended up drinking every drop of the soup at the end, because we didn't want to waste anything.
The location, the staff and the atmosphere is great as well, we enjoyed it very much. This is the best restaurant in Cat Ba that we visited and I can't praise it enough: the best hot pot you'll find anywhere.

We liked this place so much we ate here twice! Ordered shrimp curry w/ rice and a grilled fish dish the first time, and seafood hot pot the second. The serving sizes are generous and the seafood hot pot in particular was delicious - lots of fresh seafood and the soup base was super flavorful. The most memorable was actually this green (mung) bean coconut milkshake drink which was delightfully fragrant and refreshing. Decor and ambiance is wonderful as are the servers, the overall feel is probably more western than most of the shops on the island.

The best restaurant in Cat Ba, the food was really good and the bbq is incredible! We’ve been there two times during our stay. The produce is fresh and high quality. Jake the waiter is a wonderful person and very attentive. And Richard, the bartender, makes excellent cocktails. Even Chris the owner helped us with our stay. You can go there with your eyes closed.

Quiri is a lovely, compact, family-run hotel, restaurant, and bar. It's located a stone's throw from the city center, overlooking a lake and mountain ridge, making its location ideal; close enough to all the action yet without all the busyness and with an idyllic view.

The Hotel, Restaurant, and Bar have a modern vibe and the rooms are clean, have comfortable beds and most overlook the lake.

We usually like to eat out, and find some quirky dinner on the side of the road, but while in Cat Ba we found ourselves eating at Quiri for almost all our meals. They have an extensive menu that is filled with local and international dishes that are prepared on-demand with fresh and local ingredients, and you can enjoy it all while enjoying the view!

But above all, what made our experience so great was the service and interaction with the owners. Alex and his family are sincere, kind, and helpful. If you're looking for tips, motorbike rentals, tours, etc.; Alex is the guy to ask. He thinks along with you and what would suit your preference and needs best and makes reasonable, fair prized referrals (and arrangements). And when you need help with anything, he will go out of his way to offer his support. It's service but in a warm, easy-going manner.

We booked a hotel but found so much more. When we go back to Vietnam we will definitely return to Cat Ba and to Quiri!
