Cat Ba Central Homestay

This was the best place on our trip in Vietnam! They are great hosts, the rooms are big and very clean, breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood and away from the touristic hot spot. We very much enjoyed our time here, also while exploring the island by motorbike. The host also offers trips to explore the area and gives good recommendations on where to go.

Was so thankful we found this place! The owners are the kindest and most genuine people. The rooms were comfy and quiet at night and the breakfast was great! Only a short walk into town. Would highly recommend staying here!

Had such a great time while staying at Cat Ba Central Homestay. The owner and his wife are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and will help with all kinds of things. Only 10-15 min walking to the center and with a scooter only 3-4 min. The whole place including the rooms are super clean. He even got smartTV in the rooms to watch netflix and youtube 🤩. Best value for money when looking for a stay in Cat Ba.

Great family hosts, very friendly & helped us with everything we needed. Tasty banana pancake at breakfast and good value room compared to other homestays on cat ba.

Rented a bike from them and had laundry done, all went smoothly. We liked the location as it was quieter and among the locals. Means there is a short walk to the center, 10 minutes down a hill.

Everything about this place is 5 stars! The rooms are so lovely for being so affordable! The plants everywhere give it such a relaxing quality. Location is excellent, owner is so kind and hospitable! We miss it there!

Best place to stay in Cat Ba! The owner and his wife were so sweet to us. The room was clean and big. Breakfast was really good too. We booked a full day boat tour through the owner, and it was fantastic! Definitely recommend! Thank you for a nice stay❤

The place is very clean and comfortable, very close to the centre. The attention is excellent, the family makes everything easy and simple. Highly recommended.

They helped us with everything, Booked buses, rent motorbikes, ha long bay cruise..
It’s 10 minutes walk from the Main Street with all the restaurants but it definitely worth it!!

New and fresh house! The owner invited us for dinner with the other guests and served us 'happy water' shots and tea. When going to Cat Ba you don't really have to book anything, the owner provide help and the prices are cheap. The boat tour we went on was really good (paid 15usd/person for one day). Also got help to book and find the bus back to Hanoi. Really welcoming people with interesting stories if you have the time to listen. Can be a bit tricky to find and the beds were a bit hard for me as a Swede. The location is good.

We stayed at the Cat Ba Central Homestay for two nights. The room was clean, comfortable, with wifi that was working great. The owner was extremely friendly, inviting us for dinner the first night and arranging a rental scooter for the couple of days.

The homestay is so nice and clean! It is more quite and peaceful than almost other hotel on Cat Ba island.

Wow, the host here is amazing. Hands down the best place we have stayed in Vietnam. Clean rooms, cool air con, awesome shower and lots of help with organising what we wanted to do. Very beautiful and luxury accommodation. Owner is like super friendly man, wich can take care about everything you might need on Cat Ba and his wife is cooking amazing foods. 5 stars is not enough !

Nice clean guesthouse with a very friendly owner. The dinner was really tasty and had good vegetarian options. The rooms were clean, and the Wi-Fi was good.
