Really nice walk. Pretty quick and easy. Go to the resort and park there then you walk thru the beach and can find this trail with stunning views

Great place to see the sunrise, some exercise or just to enjoy a nice view. This is one of the view things to do in catba mainland (the other ones are the national park or the fort). The sunrise is probably the best time due to the light and reflections. It is also a nice place to take pictures of the flamingo hotel

Very beautiful and well done trail. The whole trail consits of several stairs. The trail itself is done very beautiful and safe.

Splendid scenery and views over the two beaches of Cat Co 3 & 1.
The path is well maintained and allows you to go from one beach to the other in only 15 minutes but for sure you will stop for some nice pictures on the way.

BEAUTIFUL and super accessible. It’s paved and takes you through the side of cat ba for spectacular views of the surrounding islets. Go for sunset. You can also take a full loop or double back. The loop goes back to the main road just gotta pass through one of the resort beaches

Best place to experience the sunrise on the bay ! Just walk or bike to Cat Co 3 and take the stairs on the right of the beach. You can just sit somewhere and enjoy the breathtaking view or you can walk the path to Cat Co 1.

The rock trail can be walked through from either end. If you don't want to return the same direction, take a detour around the back of the hill to get a better view of the harbor, which is lined with boats and floating restaurants. Little passage hidden away from insider look, but surprisingly spectacular.

In my opinion, The Rock trail is truly the most beautiful coastal walking path in Vietnam. This pathway connects two beaches, Cat Co 2 and Cat Co 3, and provides a panoramic view of the stunning and majestic Lan Ha Bay. I recently had the pleasure of taking a short trip to this pathway with some friends on a peaceful day, with impressive Mammatus clouds in the sky. It is easy to locate the pathway using Google Maps, with only a 5-minute drive from the center of Cat Ba town to Flamingo Cat Ba Resort, the starting point of the pathway. From there, visitors can stroll along this picturesque path and take in the breathtaking views.

The Stone Pathway is truly a hidden gem of Cat Ba Island, and it is definitely worth exploring. The walkway is surrounded by natural beauty, with stunning views of the bay and mountains. The pathway is also flanked by lush greenery and colorful wildflowers that add to its beauty. The path itself is made of stone, and its smooth surface makes it easy for visitors to walk comfortably while admiring the surroundings.

As we walked along the path, we could see Cat Co 2 and Cat Co 3 beaches on either side, and the turquoise waters of Lan Ha Bay glistening in the sun. We stopped several times to take in the breathtaking views and capture some photos. The pathway also offers several spots for visitors to relax and enjoy the view, with seating areas and benches available.

Overall, I highly recommend the Stone Pathway to anyone visiting Cat Ba Island. It is a beautiful and peaceful walkway that offers a unique and unforgettable experience. The location is easily accessible, and visitors can explore at their own pace. Beautiful and little uphill walking trail between the two small beaches for the spectacular landscape of left over lime stone cliffs melted by the sea for thousands of years and perfect for photography though it was cloudy as of Jan 24th.

This trail is very nice and it offers nice views on the sea. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Take a beautiful sunset walk on the cliffs between two popular beaches. Takes about 20minutes to walk. (40 minutes if your girlfriend wants too many pictures) Stunning views.
