Blue Lagoon Cat Ba

This was by far the best stay that we had in Vietnam so far. We have booked the cabin that has a lake view and the view was amazing. You would wake up with this great view feeling that you are inside the Blue Lagoon. They have the most friendliest dogs ever ginger and chocolate. Ginger will bring you pebbles to fetch (so cute!). The whole team is very friendly and always there for you. Thank you May, Hung and Hai for this amazing stay, we wish we could have stayed for more days.

Hidden gem where you can relax and stay. The owner is friendly and the manager can speak English.

The 3 nights stay here served good breakfast, and good coffee and enjoyed the 2 dogs and 2 cats. You will feel a different vibes.

The place is a bit far from the city which needs a bike (solo or couple) or transport (with family).

Had the most wonderful stay here with my partner. The location is absolutely stunning, the rooms are in pristine condition with hot showers and beautiful outlooks, the staff are kind and helpful, the breakfast is tasty, and the dogs are just so cute! You won't regret staying here.

Our best stay in Vietnam would be at this warm, cozy, lush green homestay. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The pet dog 'Gun' was really adorable and made us feel much more welcome at the property.
The garden is superbly maintained. Rooms were comfortable but they can do a better job with the upkeeping of the rooms.
Breakfast was freshly prepared and very delicious. Their coffee was outstanding too.
Would definitely recommend this place.

Honestly, five stars is not enough to demonstrate how amazing and magical this place is. From the second we walked down the road leading to Blue Lagoon we knew it was a special place to stay.

We were greeted by gừng, the sweetest reception dog and warmly welcomed. The cabin we stayed in was very tidy, cozy and with all the amenities we needed. It was a bit chilly at night but they provided a space heater which kept us warm. They even promptly went out and got us a new one when ours broke down.

Don’t even hesitate to book your stay here on Cat Ba. They have scooters for rent on the property, so you can quickly zip into town to eat or out to Cat Ba national park for an adventure. We were sad to leave but if you’re looking for a beautiful, tranquil and special experience please go ahead and book, you won’t regret a thing.

I have spent 1 month in Vietnam and my time at blue lagoon cat ba was my favorite. Stayed in both the blue tiny home and the wooden house. Both amazing. The staff was so kind and they have a house car you can call to take you anywhere for a fair price. The crepes for breakfast were fantastic and the Wi-Fi and air-con was great. Some of the best most professional mixed drinks too. Say hi to their dog gung for me, he loves to play fetch with his ball but often will bring you a stone instead!

Beautiful small accomodation, a bit further from the crowded center. Extremely nice team and super sweet dogs :) the best coffee and cocktails so far :)

A cosy homestay located at a beautiful place. The wooden cabin was pretty and comfortable with many windows and glass panes.
They have a cute, very friendly doggy who loves to play ball with the guests.
The owner is a helpful man who can guide you very well about places around Cat Ba Island.
Wish we had more time to spend here.
Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a serene beautiful stay in Cat Ba not too far from the town.

Suggestion for the owner- the curtains on the windows should be a bit bigger. They don’t cover the whole of the window pane.

Beautiful garden, you feel like out in the nature but still very close to everything you might need. Wonderful breakfast, clean chalets, mozorbikes and bikes available. A short ride from everything important on the island. Special thank you to our host, receptionist and coffee guru who was extremely helpful, really nice and genuine petson and made us feel welcome and attended to the whole time!

Wooden hut like room makes me feel comfortable, and the room was well cleaned!

The room has it's own atmosphere and eco-friendly!

They borrow bicycles for free, easy to access any places in the island!

Also puppy is so cute 🐕🥰

Absolutely perfect. Best place we have stayed in Vietnam by a mile. Excellent value for money. Beautiful wood cabin overlooking a stunning lake. Best part, ginger the golden retriever. Owners speak English and help with everything. Also, they make a perfect americano coffee. Don’t hesitate to book!

Beautiful little property next to a lake, 7 minute drive outside central Cat Ba town. Perfect for young couples who want a quiet place just outside town.

Likes: The reception/ cafe area with lush plants everywhere. The wooden house is charming and romantic. Really nice bathroom looking into a mountain. It's a dog friendly place with a cute Labrador running around the property. The owner is helpful and a cool guy to talk to.

Dislikes: Bring some mosquito repellent (they also provide) as it's next to a lake full of them. Small thing broken in the room like doorknobs, hinges, that need a little bit more care.

Wauw! This place!! What an amazing time we had here. We spend two nights in this hidden, quiet gem and we absolutely loved it!!! Really one of the BEST places we stayed at during our trip in Vietnam. It is so chill and the people who run it are the sweetest people ever. Always smiling and we really felt at home. It’s so cosy!
We relaxed in the sunny, beautiful garden with the most adorable dog and cat to cuddle and play with. Their coffee is really good too. We slept so good in the bungalow with the sound of crickets, just lovely!! We even could do some laundry. Big thanks to the beautiful Ha !! She is just so sweet. We deff recommend this place & We will deff come back!!

We stayed with Hai, the owner, in his house boat on Airbnb (little cat ba house boat - amazing). He was so kind and welcoming. Furthermore, we got to visit Blue Lagoon after our trip and wow - their B&B space is beautiful. It’s centrally located just a hop into town, the cafe has the best coffee on the island, and from what we saw of their food food - it looks delicious. I can only imagine how great the stay is if the hospitality extended to us (as peripheral guests to Blue Lagoon) was extended to their b&b guests. Book with them here or on Airbnb and you’ll be well cared for.

This place is a bit far away from Cat Ba center. But you can go by Google instructions. Along the way to this place is a fresh water lake. The scenery is so peaceful. We came here for coffee drinking. We ordered Egg Coffe. The egg cream layer was quite good. The place is covered by green and beautiful landscaping. The host is friendly. next time i will stay here to experience if i have time.

Beautiful place beyond expectation. Little bit off the main road but feels like sitting in a forest. Beautiful rooms. Staff is super friendly.
They give a great homemade breakfast. They will arrange all your needs, like bikes, tours etc.

Nice people, service was good Loved the location, hope the lagoon still there on my next visit. Quiet place. Close enough to the town center.
The only complain I have is the air con outdoor module is too close to the house and I felt the noise and vibration whole night long. Not that a big matter compare to the whole place and service. 👍👍👍

Hai was the best host we’ve ever had! He was so helpful, attentive and wonderfully friendly. Our time on Cat Ba was made 1000x better for staying at blue lagoon, we already want to come back. Especially recommend if you love big friendly dogs! Also the coffee is fantastic.
