George's Market

They have a nice selection of drinks and snacks. The staff is always friendly, and we love their Grey Kitty ,mascot!

I stopped at George's Market when I'm in church and market area for about 15 years now. Because Safeway is right across the street I think George's makes a point of stocking items Safeway does not carry. I feel good giving my money to a small business & I find a trip to a local market much more relaxing & pleasant than the Safeway experience which has been quite an ordeal at times. I've never been wrongly accused of stealing from them nor have they ever asked to look in my bags or see my receipts which is a huge plus!

Great place and the customer service with a friendly attitude on top of all the crazy stuff that happens on that particular corner. One of my go-to places for some quick favorites of candy , soda etc.

It's one of my favorite(when in the area) local market places. There's never a line and they always have what I need.🙂

Unfortunately this place charge $0.50 unless you spend $15.00 minimum when you pay with credit or debit card, is that “allowed”?, as you can see on the receipt they charged me $10.25 when the price of the item was $9.75, and of course that’s not showed on the receipt. How many times they charge extra to customers per day, per week, per month and per year? How much they made with that? Where is Visa and/or MasterCard?
